I’ve been coming to this makeup forever location for a couple months now. A friend of mine recommended their classes to me that they have every Monday evening. There I met Christian who is their head artist as well as the teacher of their makeup classes. Each class I’ve attended he’s taken the time out to not only explain makeup application techniques but to make sure I have truly mastered it before leaving the class. I’ve never had an experience at a makeup location before where the artist actually cared if I knew what I was doing with the products or not. He is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend attending one of his classes on Mondays. I’ve been to about 5 different classes now and I learn something new each time I go!

I had an awful experience at the KOP Makeup Forever Boutique last Friday night. I went there because my esthetician friend told me that it would be the best makeup for my very sensitive, reactive skin. I have a chronic illness and have to take medicine that causes this. She told me that the boutique in King of Prussia was the best place to go for the most knowledgable help. I had a great experience, explained my issues and ended up purchasing 2 products. Low and behold, I broke out terribly after trying to use them for over a week. I parked the up in the boxes and bag they came in and had the receipt and went back to the King Of Prussia boutique to return or even exchange them since I could not use them. I talked to a gal who smirked and pulled my receipt out of my bad and rudely pointed to the return policy at the bottom which stated you cannot return any used product. I had no idea! Was not informed of that policy at all! Would never have purchased skin products with my sensitivities and reactions knowing that I couldn’t return something if it didn’t work for me. I was shocked and the woman was so mean and rude and almost seemed to be enjoying my disappointment. Now I have $ 80+ worth of product that I will never use/cannot sue and a very bad taste in my mouth about Make Up Forever. I am very disappointed with the company and very shocked that this woman that I had to deal with at KOL is able to keep her job. I am going to keep trying to make contact with somebody at Makeup Forever and hope for the best. ***POSITIVEUPDATE*** Holly H. a higher-up at Makeup Forever kindly messaged me and offered her help to resolve my product/return situation and apologized for the mean lady and my experience at KOP. Recently went to Make Up For Ever at KOP. Initially had a great experience and bought $ 75 worth of products. After trying them for 5 days I didn’t really like them. I went to return and was told I couldn’t because they were opened. Thankfully they let me exchange but I ended up having to shove more money out! Then they stamped a big FINALSALE on my new receipt. Overall, still not in love with the products and definitely won’t be buying from there again. The Sephora in KOP sells the same Make Up For Ever products and their return policy is unopened or gently used can be returned, so I’ll just keep shopping there.

I went today to find a resolution for my in between shades drama. There I met Jayme who helped me with color choices,& technique. It was totally worth the trip from Delaware to Philly. Everyone just seemed so helpful. I will definitely buy my products from here. Oh and I also gave me the option to buy via phone. Thanks for a great experience.

She was so helpful giving me quick and concise advise on the products she liked best and even helped me place the order so that it ships the same day. I just want to say that all the girls here at this location went over and beyond the call of duty when it came to helping me out. I love makeup forever products, but wasn’t exactly sure what specific products I needed to buy at the moment to add to my professional makeup kit. Mariluz was so kind to stay with me the whole time I was there and explain-with detail, every product I had questions about! She patiently guided me through the store, gave very helpful suggestions and even wrote information down for me that would aid me in my career, as well as future products I could later invest in, so as not to go overboard the day of! I’ve never had that much attention paid to me at a makeup store and I can’t begin to explain how much it meant to me. I am so grateful for this experience, and LOVE every product that I ended up purchasing(so do my clients btw!!) I am soooo looking forward to their makeup classes on Mondays! Beware! They do not tell you there is a $ 60.00 fee for a makeup application. I made an appointment because I wanted to purchase new makeup and was interested in this line. I had the makeup application and purchased $ 200.00 worth of cosmetics. As the woman rang up my purchases she included the $ 60.00 fee. I was shocked. What cosmetic store charges for an application when you are purchasing their products? When I called the manager the next day to ask for a refund they refused. She quoted company policy. Their website has no mention of the corporate policy or the cost for a makeup application. It’s just plain bad customer service. I will never return.
