The Shisha Lounge

Roughly $ 20 for a hookah, no hose cost, free coal refills, kind atmosphere, all around epic. Not sure why this place isn’t constantly packed, but it should be with how good they are.

Fun place great chill vibe! They play music for everyone and you can Byob for just 5 bucks, great staff and they always make sure that you are satisfied.

Nice sofas & love seats. Very comfortable the music here tonight (Friday) is very party like, so this place is not a bad pregame spot for groups. Spacious environment. About 6 tv’s with sports on. One unisex bathroom. Go with a group!

I’ve stopped in a few times to get refills for my hookah pen. I love this place! Everyone in there is so nice and extremely helpful. I went in my first time and told the guy that I didn’t know anything about the hookah pen and he went step by step and pretty much gave me a class on it. The place is extremely relaxing and fun. Even if you’ve never smoked a hookah or hookah pen go to this place, they are happy to help with all your questions. I love this place, and they will always have my business.

Update: Sadly, they stopped having bellydancers in November 2009. I haven’t been back in that area since, however I understand Shisha is still there and doing well, which is great.

My sister-​in-​law and I discovered the Shisha Lounge by accident, my husband and brother-​in-​law were getting tattoos at Slaughter House (which is located in the same little plaza.) Anyways, the tattoos were taking forever and we were becoming very bored so we decided to walk down the strip and see if there was anywhere to get a pedicure. What we found, however was the Shisha Lounge.
The atmosphere inside is calm and cool. I like the music that they play, it’s a wide variety of techno, rock, rap, everything. They usually only play music that is pretty calm. They have many different flavors to pick from and the mint is very good. It seems very clean, the bathroom is clean, and it is very laid back. The first time we went, my sister-​in-​law and I spent about 3 hours in there, laughing, smoking, talking, whatever. I am not a smoker, so for those of you who have never smoked hookah before, it is not like smoking a ciggarette. It is much more smooth and it doesn’t make me feel like I am going to cough and choke and die. My sister-​in-​law and I enjoyed it so much the first time that we went back a few days later and smoked again with some friends and my husband.
They also have basic concessions (candy, chips, water, soda) and they have hot green tea. It is SO good! I would definately recommend getting it, it is very soothing when you are smoking. They do not have alcohol, but if they did that would make the experience even better. ;)
I would give the Shisha Lounge 5 stars but the reason I decided on four was simple– the guy who runs the place is RUDE. A friend of my sister-​in-​laws had recommended that we try «apple-​mint» so the second time we went, that’s what we wanted to try. When we went in, we asked the man at the front if we could get apple and mint and he rudely replied «Do you see apple anywhere on the list?» and snorted at us as if we were retarded. Anyways, we ended up settling for sour apple and mint, which wasn’t a big deal, I just didn’t appreciate his rude comment. We are CUSTOMERS, paying good money to come in and smoke. (It’s not a very busy place either, so it seemed like he would be greatful for our business?) The other guy that works for him, he comes around and ashes the coals and stuff, he is very, very nice and polite. We were very impressed by him both times we went.
Anyways, Shisha Lounge is a cool place and I plan on making my third trip later this week! :)

It’s less than 5 mins. away from where I live which makes it convenient.
The atmosphere is great. I agree with the other review about the rap music. It kinda ruins your buzz. There is also a wide variety of flavors!!!
You should definitely check this place out!
