We rented from Morris Real Estate for almost two years. For the most part we enjoyed the house and didn’t have issues from them. We had one issue with the home, that was not our fault and they insisted on charging us a $ 60 fee. The garbage disposal quit working and I stood there with the maintenance man while he fixed it. After he fixed it he said. Well «I have to charge you since there was plastic in there.» He NEVER pulled ANYTHING from the disposal. I am not blind or stupid. We disputed it with the rental agency who remained adamant we had to pay for it. This is blatant dishonesty and Lying. They ended up taking the $ 60 out of our deposit. They also took out money for an air filter that we replaced right before we moved out. We passed the walk through inspection and always took care of the home, yet they shorted our deposit refund. This is unnaceptable and dishonest. I would look somewhere else, as we always paid our rent on time and took care of the rental property, and they couldn’t take care of us in return. They also need to work on online payments. $ 5 charge to paywith a card is excessive.
