Billy Bob’s Burgers

This ain’t your ordinary burger! Great home cooked flavor and style. Staff is decent. No inside dining area so be advised.

The food might be good here but I wouldn’t know. I set in the drive through for a few minutes watching employees chatting up with each other. I finally gave up and drove off to search for my lunch elsewhere.

A hidden burger place in Killeen. There is very little press on this place and it is out of the way on Rancier ave.
It’s a bit pricey and takes about 10 – 15 minutes to get your food if they are busy.
They burger choices they have are very interesting, if you ask for the menu they keep in the back you’ll get a list of choices with pictures that are off the chain.
Definitely worth a check out if you live near by.

My favorite burger joint in Killeen. They have excellent burgers and fries, nice set up, customer service is always good, sometimes they for get stuff in my burger but that’s why you should always check your food before leaving. I live their red velvet milkshakes. All of them are good but red velvet is the best and I’ve only had it from them once. I always get the double patty, bacon, cheese burger with grilled onions, and mushrooms

Went here when first opened with my dad. Lots of good memory’s here. Pricy but good and filling. I have it as a treat once in a while when I can afford to and cause it is greasy so yeah get my delicious grease quota in. Love the milkshakes too.

Not bad! They have great shakes. But if you’re going, don’t go in a hurry. They take a little time!

Delicious! The burgers are fresh, juicy, and oh so good. Definitely recommend this place over any take out burger anywhere.

Some of the best if not the best burgers in Central Texas. Great people, atmosphere and food! Try it you won’t be disappointed!

it is a bit pricey depending on what you get but the food is amazing I always end up getting a normal hamburger or the chili both are amazing I think it’s a great place for you in couple people food is made fresh to order so it takes awhile but still worth it

Billy Bob’s is my go to lunch spot in the killeen/​Fort Hood area. The staff there really does an incredible job thinking up different burgers to fit every possible taste. You need to go in and see the menu in person to really see what they have to offer. My two favorite burgers are the «Zombie» or the «Avenger». This blows Black Meg’s out of the water.
Pros: amazing menu with everything made to order fresh. Order a half fries/​half tots side to go along with your burger. Friendly staff that works fast considering it is all made fresh.
Cons: limited seating and parking. No public restrooms.
A specialty burger, side of fries and a drink will cost about $ 15

Great chili

Amazing!!! My husband and I went here for lunch on Memorial Day. I wasn’t excited about going because I am not a big burger fan. It’s not that I don’t like them it is just really hard to find a great burger. This place has them! I ordered the grilled cheese and it was amazing oozing with cheese and on buttery Texas toast. We ordered a side of the fried pickles and they were so good. Very thin and crispy and came with a good side of ranch sauce. We also got an order of the onion rings and they were so so delicious. My husband ordered a gigantic burger, I can’t remember the name but it was so freaking good. They have tons of options and different styles of burgers. they had a super hero line of burgers that looked really good too. The best burgers in town hands down! The milkshakes are even better than that and they are HUGE! Definitely try this place you won’t regret it!

All I can say is yuuuuummmmmmmooooooo! Great food and friendly staff. Best burgers in town by far.

The burgers here are really good. The folks running the place are very nice, as well. Definitely will come back.

The best burger I have ever had. This burger was so yummy! You know you just want a good ol hamburger and this is it. McDonalds, BK don’t even compare. You want a real burger? You get it here.

Maybe I’m insane but I did NOT care for these burgers. Too much filler, low quality beef. seasoned well, but it still tastes like poverty. Maybe if I was feeling nostalgic I would have enjoyed these– but coming from DC and eating Ray’s Hellburgers, BGR, and assorted small joint burgers I found them lacking. The fries were heavenly, but the youths providing service were a little giggly for my tastes. I’m not sure if they found me attractive or repulsive, but either way they could have been slightly more discreet in their observations.

I went to Billy Bob’s and ordered a chicken sandwich… I know, I know… blasphemy. But it was SO good. Go there twice, first time get the burger (which I have yet to try but I hear it’s phenomenal) and the second time give the chicken a chance. It’s so greasy, fried, finger-​licking good… you won’t regret it. And you could always go back a third time for another burger if you don’t agree.

If your looking for a great lunch idea, this is the place. One of my favorite burgers! The fries are excellent too. Plan too wait for your food for at least 10 minutes, as it is made to order, but well worth it.
Haven’t tried anything other than the burgers and fries, but they are good enough. The staff is very friendly as well. This is a small burger stand, but the quality is great.

Reminded me of my Grandmother’s burgers. She use to mix flour and spices in with the ground beef and fry them in a cast iron skillet. I’m not sure what they are doing at Billy Bob’s, but it seems to be similar, and, it works. The burgers and fries are made to order. Everything is too hot to eat it when you get it.
It is a small place, but I suspect it will be getting bigger soon. Seating is outside only. You order at one window and pick-​up at another. There is a drive through.
I got the cheese burger small combo, with fries and a drink. The total was $ 7.24 including tax. They advertise shakes and hand dipped icecream cones as well.
