I would give a negative star if I could. We ate at New China Buffet for years and started ordering from Buffet City when they closed. We previously avoided Buffet City because the food was bad and the place was dirty. However, we were told they were using New China Buffet’s recipes. Initially, it was good, but our last two orders have been horrible and I think today’s order was our very last. I ordered two combination dinners with shrimp egg rolls instead of the regular ones. We only got one shrimp egg roll. I called the restaurant and the guy argued with me– loudly. Little did I know, I should have been thankful. The shrimp egg roll tasted like nothing but salt. It went in the trash. I am so sad. No more Chinese food in Kilgore. It was one of our favorites. :(

This is a Chinese Buffet and it is a good one. Lot’s of variety, well stocked, and fresh. Real ice cream for dessert. I think the adult buffet runs around $ 9.00 or so.
