This was our first trip to Kauai and as soon as we passed this place we had to stop. We met David, I presume is the owner. Very friendly! He explained the sustainability and intentions involved in the design of the course. The landscaping and use of water is exceptional. You’ll definitely enjoy your time here!

First of all, the premises is beautiful! Not only is the course lovely and just the right amount of challenging, there are signs explaining the origin and growth of the island. Labels covering all of the exotic plants. You can tell they take pride in every aspect of their business. The bathrooms were tidy as well. They also have food, by which we were very pleasantly surprised. From what I tried, everything was fresh and home made. The owner is super friendly and the lady who makes the food is talented and even asked for suggestions. We had an amazing experience here!

This place is so beautiful! My fam and I came in around 7ish and played 18 holes. We wished we would have played during the day since it was a little dark to see all the amazing plants in the gardens. But it was still really pretty and fun. The customer service is really nice and friendly. This is probably one of the nicest mini golf courses I’ve played. There’s a place to eat there for breakfast lunch and dinner, shave ice, and organic espressos. If you’re staying near princeville or anywhere around that area you should definitely stop by :)

We came here for the 5 mile walk to Stone Dam, which is an incredible sight. After the hike, we stopped at the mini golf store to have a shaved ice and this is the best place on the island for shaved ice! They are huge and are soaked in syrup(they are a full meal)! Mini golf, food and sights; a great place to spend a day or two…

The food was delicious. The best bacon blue cheese hamburger I’ve had anywhere. Workers are so sweet. We really enjoyed ourselves and the chocolate cake on our way out was amazing. They ate every bite down to the last crumb.

We’ve been coming to Kauai for years and remember when this place was built, but for some reason, never visited. We decided to try it out today. What a fun afternoon. Lovely, helpful, friendly staff. Immaculately clean everything: course, restrooms, store… all spotless. Beautiful course with Hawaiian cultural information posted throughout the course. Pristine garden grounds with the plants all labeled with their names and countries of origin. This was a nice way to spend a few hours in the gorgeous, sunny weather. Creatives fun holes that we enjoyed playing and enjoyed the surroundings. Definitely worthy of a morning or afternoon of your time. :) Mahalo, Kilauea miniature golf!

Normally when my husband and I play mini golf we get at least 3 hole in ones each, when we played here not one hole in one between us. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and they there was information about the plants and culture of HI. We also like that they had rules like a 6 stroke max and that you got a 1 stroke penalty for water hazards and going out of bounds(like in normal golf). They have food and a gift store in front. And the manger told us they’re a non-profit, which is amazing.

If your(fair-skinned) family ever needs a break from the beach, this is the spot. Kids(ages 6&8) had a blast, we learned a little Hawaiian history and enjoyed the beautiful botanical gardens(and I’m not a gardener at all). Nice deli/restaurant, non-cheesy gift shop. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Good old-fashioned family fun. Definitely the best mini golf course ever.

18 creative holes. Spotlessly clean throughout — including the bathrooms. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Bonus is the café. Some great food options — some fresh healthy ones. I liked the Island Burrito. Best ice cream(gelato) I saw on the island. My kids loved this place. Beautiful landscaping. Appreciated the Hawaiian botanical information.

On vacation, the women decided to go on a Chocolate Tour, and my son, BIL, FIL, & I wanted to go kayaking. That morning we felt tired and didn’t feel like driving back and forth so we decided to go mini golfing. It was one of the best things we did! The lady at the front counter have us the kama’aina price because I was raised in Hawaii which saved us 40%, normal adult price is almost $ 20. All the staff was incredibly friendly. The course was BEAUTIFUL and educational. The course follows a timeline through the history of the formation and culture of the islands. Each hole has information on a specific topic of the plants and land, e.g. medicinal, food, exports, canoe, etc. The holes were designed really well. The challenges were really fun. We spent the whole time cheering, laughing, high fiving, and smiling. It was crowded but we did let two groups go ahead of us that we’re moving faster than us. This is something we would love to do again. We were very happy we decided to come to mini golf.

This place was awesome! My husband and I came here on a warm afternoon to do something relaxing. We started by getting 2 cheeseburgers and paying for our round of golf in advance. I can’t believe how good the burgers were at this mini golf place. The patties were super juicy and everything tasted fresh. It was actually the best burger that we got while in Kauai, and some of the better food. Now on to the mini golf. I haven’t gone mini golfing around the world or anything, like some of the reviewers apparently have, but this place is super impressive. They have built the course around all sorts of local wildlife, and there are little waterfalls and even a big koi pond. The course is built so that you will inevitably lose your ball in the water at various intervals, so they provide nets all over the course for you to fish your ball out of the water. Obviously the point is to not get your ball in the water, but we had a lot of fun fishing the balls out of the ponds and streams. They have planted orchids, coffee plants, pineapple plants, just to name a few. There is a zen garden complete with a bonsai tree. We really had so much fun at this place, and I think anyone who complains about the $ 18 to golf here is crazy. Even the gift store here was pretty cool. Also, hit up the fruit stand Banana Joe’s across the parking lot for some good fruit, local raw honey, and pineapple frosties.

Wow, I was really impressed with this place. It’s a new mini-golf course that winds its way through a botanical garden. There are also some really fun holes that involve water traps — hitting your ball over the water, or across a narrow bridge. For each of these, there’s also a net so you can fish your ball out of the water. They also have a fancy boutique gift shop as well as a snack bar with a significant menu, including gelato and POG sorbetto. My girls are 8 and 6 and really enjoyed playing, and the four adults were very competitive in trying to outdo each other. We only had two holes-in-one across all six of us, so it’s a nicely challenging course. If you have kids, definitely drop by for a visit!

Awesome place, loved it. The gardens and the course are very well taken care of and the course is challenging and fun. Makes for a great change of pace after the beach or a hike. Much more scenic then your typical mini golf course in larger cities. What it lacks in ant hills and wind mills, it more then makes up for it with its many water features and gardens. The botanical gardens are beautiful and the history and nature lessons were interesting. Plenty of scenery in while you wait for your turn to shoot. They also have plenty of refreshments and snacks to make anyone in the group happy.

It’s a must do, and a must do again for me! I would recommend it for both tourists and residence of Kauai. Kauai Mini Golf offers the opportunity for tons of laughs and a challenging terrain. There were 4 adults and 2 children in our party. I shouted on the 18th hole when I got a hole-in-one(yay me). Be prepared to take photos and try the shave ice from the snack shop.

Beautiful grounds– great course! The botanical gardens, mini history and nature lessons, and frogs were a wonderful bonus. Our family had a great experience on a «day off»; we did a day-hike yesterday and this was perfect. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended! FUN!

There are so many amazing, breathtaking things to see in Kauai besides mini-golf. But if you’re being rained out like we were, or want to just zone out and do something familiar, fun, and not particularly challenging, then this mini golf course can work out nicely for you. This was definitely on the pricey end. The course was pretty with a lot of flowers and signs about the history of the island, but most of the holes were really easy and not so big on crazy, fun obstacles.
