I used Rainbow Travel for my family trip to Kauai in December for Christmas. My baby was nine months at the time and needed a bunch of baby equipment. I thought and I wanted to bring the stroller an the plane. But I changed my mind that on our trip we can rent one. We also decided that our baby could sleep in a pack and play but decided a crib would be better. So I was glad I found Rainbow Travel. They didn’t just have everithing we needed, but everithing was inexpensive, and they would delivery right away.
We ended up renting a Bob stroller and a crib. I have to send it to my parents house and they were set up and everything when I showed up. There where sheets provided. Perfect and great service. I will definitely use them again next time we come to Kauai, Hawaii.

We rented a crib and high chair for our 2 week stay in Princeville. Mel delivered everything at the exact time we requested and was very communicative and a gem to work with. Loved the folding/​collapsing crib which we’ve never had before. It was so easy to move!

No complaints here. The Pack and Play we ordered was set up and waiting for us when we arrived. It was clean and in good condition. Would definitely use them again.

We went to Kauai for my cousin’s wedding and was there for 1 week with my husband, my 3 yr old & 2 ½ month old baby. I cannot imagine not having things for my 2 ½ month old baby. I rented the baby swing, beach package, baby bathtub & bumbo floor seat. The swing was cleaned like brand new and worked great! The beach package included a cooler, a cabana (like a beach half tent) and sand bucket for my 3 yr old daughter. I asked Mel if he can make sure I get the cabana because I didn’t want the umbrella. He made it happened! The cooler is big and has a roller which made it convenient. I bathed my baby almost everyday because of the heat and the tub made it very easy! I didn’t really use the bumbo floor seat since my baby was in-​love with the swing. Mel was great! I emailed him and ask if he can go to my hotel room to pick up the equipments instead of lugging all those things to the front desk. He was very prompt with his responses and made this experience very pleasant! He was very willing to pick up the equipments and did it with a nice smile! I would recommend Rainbow Rental any time! It’s very affordable and I find the pricing very reasonable! I was referred by my friend and this is definitely a very great recommendation!

We were in HI for a week staying at a hotel. We could not have survived without the gear we rented. With a four month old, the swing was perfect. The play mat was brand new in the box and the beach chairs and cooler were perfect! Thanks to Mel and his wife!

We HIGHLY recommend this service and will definitely use Rainbow Travel again! We ordered everything online before our trip and all our expectations were greatly exceeded. Mel was prompt, flexible, and provided excellent customer service with brand new baby and beach products for our entire family on our latest trip to Kauai. Our plane arrived later than expected… no problem for Mel. He cheerfully greeted us at the car rental building at LIH with 3 car seats, then dropped off all our other rented items — cribs, a pack-​n-​play, beach chairs, beach toys, cooler, umbrellas, etc. — at our condo in the Poipu area. When it was time to depart he drove back down to our condo, picked up all the items except the car seats, then met us at the airport to collect the car seats. Talk about exceptional service! And he did it all with a smile and a cheerful attitude! What’s really amazing is that with all this exceptional service, Rainbow Travel’s prices beat all the other Kauai rental service prices (from what we could see online… and we checked them all out). Great service, low prices, cheerful and thankful attitude… can’t beat that!

Rainbow Travel was amazing! My husband and I recently traveled to Kauai with our one year old. After researching the various baby equipment rental companies on the island, we contacted Mel at Rainbow Travel. I was hesitant at first because their prices were SO much cheaper than the other companies but I am so glad we ended up going with them. We did all of our ordering online/​via email which was super easy. The service was exceptional. Mel arrived to our condo on time with a full size crib, highchair, basket of toys, portable beach shelter, beach chairs and cooler. When we arrived at the condo, we realized that we needed a safety gate to block off the kitchen. We made a quick call to Mel and he was able to add one to our order. To top it off, all of the equipment that was brought was practically brand new! My son loved the toys, I even had to purchase some of the same ones once we got home. I was very impressed with Rainbow Travel and their level of customer service. We will definitely be using them again and I would recommend them to others.

Amazing customer service. Prices are cheapest on the island. All of the baby equipment we rented was brand new or at least so clean it appeared to be brand new. The baby gates we rented were not the correct size (to no fault of anyone’s since we had no idea what sizes we would need beforehand given we had never stayed in the rental house we had). They drove all the way back into town (not a short drive) to purchase gates that would fit. They helped install and were so friendly. Too bad all businesses don’t have this type of customer service because they are great. Definitely book with these people, I will use them without a doubt on our next trip to Kauai.

Rainbow travel was great! After comparing prices with the other Kauai rental companies, we chose Rainbow Travel. The equipment was brand new and service was excellent. Everything was done online which made ordering much easier. Mel was right in time for both drop off and delivery, and extremely nice. Traveling with a little one and all their needed equipment is difficult and Rainbow travel made this so much easier. I will definitely use this company again and will recommend to others.

I highly recommend Rainbow Travel. I went to Kauai with my toddler and rented a car seat and high chair. Their products were clean and like new and their customer service was friendly and polite. They even delivered and picked up.
