I have been shopping at this store for over 7 years now. But after today, I’ll be going elsewhere. I walked in the door as the store employees were talking about someone’s girlfriend. I walked right through them, shopped around 10 mins and not at one time did anyone offer me any help. I was the only one in the store also! Who’s in charge of these employees these days!

Located in the Shops of Wailea, this surf shop has some high quality products. And therefore, the prices reflect that. I always wanted to buy something here, but didn’t due to the value. This trip, I finally bought some Honolua shirts. It helped that they were on sale. If they last, when I return I’ll give in and pay regular price as well.

Hands down, my favorite surf shop when visiting Maui. They have excellent selection in styles and sizes, in both mens and womens and juniors and I LOVE how they have large corporate surf companies, with specialty locations like Hawaii and Maui shouted out on them! My hubby bought Billabong, RVCA and others with special Hawaii slogans or mentionings. Super special! They have great prices, clean store and very friendly staff!

I love this store. Found a great dress on sale and lots of other stuff I wanted to buy. The people working at this location are super friendly and they have a huge sale rack unlike the stores in the more touristy areas.

Located on the lower level at The Shops at Wailea, next to similar stores(Quiksilver, Roxy, Honolua Wahine), this Honolua Surf Co. store is one of two stores that receive older merchandise from the other stores on the island and sell at a discount. The other location that sells marked-down merchandise is at the Lahaina Cannery Mall. Marked-down goods can be found in the back of the store, prices usually slashed and written in red ink. The marked-down inventory may not be as good as the store located in the Lahaina, but you never know. You may just find something that the other store didn’t have. The main reason is these two locations received older marked-down merchandise is because they are located in shopping malls that hardly anyone ever goes to. A good marketing strategy to try to draw customers, although poorly executed since there is no advertising whatsoever. But what that means is fellow Unilocalers like yourself and me are in the know and get to reap in the benefits of more discounted merchandise to shop through.
