I’ve been walking by this place(in this incarnation and the previous one) for years on trips past enjoying the smells but avoiding the line on my way to Whaler’s. Finally took the plunge near the end of our most recent trip, probably on the 15th of Feb. These rolls are huge, hot and delicious. The glaze is sticky and sort of special. Worth the wait if it’s your thing. These are decadent indulgences and I’m glad I waited toward the end of our trip to try them or I probably would have passed on all dessert opportunities for the week! Pro tip: ask for extra cream cheese icing if you like it. The buns are so very flavorful and strong with cinnamon that it’s hard to taste the cream cheese with the amount provided.

The cinnamon buns were amazing. Had a good breakfast sandwich. The service was rude and abrupt, but maybe we caught them on a bad day. With a smile and good service it would have been 5 star. Its a fast bite to eat with good food in a strip center. Not fine dining but a great place for a quick breakfast, with fair prices.

We had read reviews of this place and were determined to try it before we left Maui. They close at 2pm so we kept missing our window, but alas on our stop after snorkeling we made it! Now these are delicious with just the glaze on top and/or with the cream cheese icing we ordered on the side. I had mine topped with macadamia and my husband had it topped with walnuts, kids had them plain just like they were. They were so warm and delicious we had to eat them in the car because we knew they would be cold by the time we got to our hotel. One could definitely be shared as we each only ate about ½ of the rolls. I wish we could warm it up in our hotel room so we could have the leftover! So delicious!!! Better than the commercial chain in the malls in CA. Make it one of your stops while visiting Maui!

Great Cinnamon rolls with an amazing amount of sweetness. The customer service was pretty slow. Went on a Sunday morning and waiting for 20min for 3 rolls. Will go again, but could speed it up a bit!

*CINNAMONROLLFAIR Huge, tasty cinnamon roll in Kihei. Nice owner who runs it. It is a smaller little place with a couple of table outside. Boy, their cinnamon roll is Da BOMB. BTW, priced very reasonably. CASHONLY!!!

I really wanted to love this place as my father in law has been raving about the«best cinnamon rolls he’s ever eaten». The cinnamon rolls did have the delicious cinnamon sugar gooeyness, but the rolls themselves seemed to be overbaked — a bit on the dry side. The portion size is generous and can be shared by two people. I wish it had the soft doughy center like Cinnabon… Not sure what that says about my taste in cinnamon buns.

Been coming here every time I’m on Maui. This place never disappoints. Great service. And the cinnamon rolls are always perfect. Was suppose to leave on Sunday so I bought a dozen which they kindly wrapped very good knowing that I was taking it on the plane with me. Decided to stay a few extra days so I went back today to buy another dozen since I ate the first dozen with my family. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves all things cinnamon.

Wow, these cinnamon rolls are the real deal!!! I am a huge fan of sweets and these rolls hit my sweet spot. In fact, I was able to pinpoint the location of a cavity I haven’t taken care of, after my first bite. Frosting is optional and extra, they honestly taste better without it. They are constantly taking out hot and fresh batches, they try finding you the hottest and freshest one instead of just going for the oldest one. There wasn’t a line when I went but there was a steady flow of customers every couple of minutes or so. The couple that works there is extremely sweet, so please be patient if they take awhile to get your order. One cinnamon roll is enough for two but definitely don’t do that. You deserve to be gluttonous all on your own and savor every single bite of the tender, steaming hot, cinnamony roll.

I looked forward to coming to Cinnamon Roll Fair(signage says Cinnamon Roll Place) for the first three days of our vacation until FINALLY on the fourth day, we went. Finding it was easy, it’s in a small two story blue shopping center by the ocean with plenty of parking. The store inside is TINY with no place to sit, but there are 4 tables outside for hungry customers. Service is great, the ladies were friendly and helped us make decisions and take half our rolls to go while eating the other half there. We did the«Buy 5, Get 1 Free» Special and I added icing to my roll which was $ 0.75 extra. They also sell bottles juices and waters. The Cinnamon Roll(with or without the icing) was the best cinnamon roll I have ever had! They take them out of a big pan, roll them in cinnamon syrup, and then put MORE syrup on top. Just amazing! Not dry at all and cooked perfectly. You definitely have to be a fan of sweets though, because they are very very sweet. I had a hard time putting mine down(and I LOVE sweets!) while my Husband and Stepson couldn’t even finish theirs. They don’t like sweets as much as I. The cinnamon rolls do save well for the next day though, because I had one of the leftovers the following morning. I would come back to Cinnamon Roll Fair next time I’m in Kihei. I’m craving them again just writing this review!

We passed by this place several times during our stay. We woke up early again being 3 hours ahead of Hawaii time so decided to stop in. It is a little hidden in a strip mall as it is behind a set of stairs, but they have their van parked near the street so you can find them. A fresh hot batch just ca me out of the oven as we walked in. They also have a selection of about 6 coffees including vanilla macadamia nut, pumpkin spice and a Maui grown. We got two cinnamon rolls to go with frosting. They do charge .75 cents for frosting and .96 cents for Macadamia nuts. The nuts I understand, but they shouldn’t charge for frosting on a cinnamon roll. It’s like charging for ketchup for your fries. The cinnamon roll itself was great. Warm, soft, gooey and lots of cinnamon flavor. The lady at the counter was really friendly as well. A definite stop for breakfast if you’re in the Kehei/Wailea area.

Amazing place to have breakfast! The cinnamon rolls are worth the wait. Trust me on this one! I am not a big fan of cinnamon rolls but these ones are just life changing good. They always make it warm and fresh for you. It is ran by a local family and it can get a little bit busy sometimes especially in the mornings but you definitely have to take the time to wait because it is sooooo good!

After reading all the positive reviews, we were very disappointed when we tried a cinnamon roll with macadamia nuts and cream cheese frosting. The nuts were good, but the cinnamon roll(although moist, gooey, and looking great) had a chemical taste to it, which was not pleasant. Also, the cream cheese frosting was heated in a small plastic cup in the microwave. That heats it quick, but heating thin plastic in the microwave like that has been proven to leech chemicals into food so that turned us off. We also got a meathead breakfast sandwich with sausage on a everything bagel. It was just okay, which was not too surprising when I noticed that the eggs were pre-made from a container and it was also prepared in a microwave. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which we did appreciate. Also, they have lunch(starting at 10am) and coffee/espresso options which we didn’t try so those may be better. Overall, the service was good, but the cinnamon roll and the meathead breakfast sandwich were just okay and their microwaving was a major turn-off so we don’t plan on going back.

Great place. Service is excellent. They served up our cinnamon rolls lightning fast, and since we ordered 6, we received the sixth one free-bonus! I’d give this place 5 stars, but I am not as big of a fan of the ‘sticky bun’ cinnamon roll. We all had the basic sticky bun with cream cheese frosting. It was good, but not my favorite type of cinnamon roll.

I’m drooling just thinking about this place… the cinnamon rolls are so fresh and delicious and buttery and just the right amount of sweet. They’re also massive, so definitely good for sharing/leftovers. I got mine with the cream cheese frosting(yum), and they have a selection of other toppings like walnuts, etc. On our first day in Maui, we came here at 2:30pm, and they were all out of cinnamon rolls, so we settled on some banana bread and bread pudding. Good, but the cinnamon rolls are definitely where it’s at! Make sure to come early in the day before they sell out!

I was by myself in Kihei for the day and was walking off a giant breakfast when I passed right by Cinnamon Roll Fair. This moment was in a many ways a metaphor for so many decisions in my life. I didn’t need to eat a cinnamon bun, I was already so full from breakfast. As an exercise in mental toughness I made a list of three reasons NOT to get one of these bad boys: 1) Unnecessary Gluttony: No one needs to consume what I can only guess is at least 1000 calories. When you add in all the optional toppings(mac nuts, cream cheese frosting, etc) you’re really going to pack on the pounds. Bikini body! Bikini body! 2) Loaded With Sugar: I once asked my son if he could tell me why it was important to wear sunscreen. He said so he didn’t get sunburned or get diabetes. He only got the first part right, but sugar be dammed! We are not going to get sunburned! 3) Gnomes Eat Cinnamon Buns: And we all know gnomes are pure evil. Do you really want to be an evil gnome? I didn’t think so… Although I had level headed reasoning on my side, against my better judgement I found myself ordering a giant cinnamon bun. It’s like I had an out of body experience where I’d died and was watching myself from the outside. I ate that delicious sugar filled, unnecessary gluttonous cinnamon bun like an evil gnome and man, did I enjoy it! Some things are worth abandoning all reasoning for because let’s face it, you only live once and at the end of your days you’re not going to say«I wish I had eaten less cinnamon rolls.»

Excellent service. As you’re walking towards the entrance you smell the aroma of deliciousness. The staff was very friendly, very inviting. There were different varieties of cinnamon rolls. Lots of extras to load on them. Fairly reasonable price. Since Maui doesn’t have a Cinnabon this may just be your cinnamon roll fix if not better! Check it out. Remember it’s CASHONLY!

Have you folks ever had a Cinnabon? Well, let me tell you about a place folks… this locally owned bakery called — Cinnamon Roll Fair — Hawaii is just like Cinnabons, but only 10 times better! First of all, what I liked about this place was the friendly service provide by the lady clerk that manned the counter! When I walked into this place yesterday to check out the rolls… they actually ran out! Which made me a sad panda… :( But not to fret, I talked to the lady behind the counter and made a reservation for my box of heavenly huge cinnamon rolls for the next day. Upon driving back to the bakery today, as I walked into the bakery, I was treated to a heavenly whiff of cinnamon heaven! The fragrance was so overwhelming! Noms! The lady who I talked to yesterday remembered me, and set aside my box of cinnamon rolls. I decided to buy 5 rolls, because they have this deal where if you buy 5 rolls, you get 1 roll free! Wot a deal!!! As the friendly clerk was loading my rolls, I told her to leave 1 cinnamon roll out, as that was gonna be my dessert for lunch. What can I say about the cinnamon rolls? The cinnamon rolls were HUGE!!! And the nice thing about this place was they offer an array of toppings for your cinnamon rolls from various nuts, and frosting. Each roll was wrapped in it’s gooey, sticky, sugary, cinnamon sauce… aaaaaaah, all so good! Nom! Nom! Nom! Nom! This bakery is located in the Kamaole Shopping Center where there is a lot of free parking. The bakery only takes CASH, so Cash is King!!! Make sure you come early, or place your order, otherwise there is a good chance that they will run out very early.

Has a total family run neighborhood feel to it. Had their cinnamon roll and have to give it high marks. The roll was not too doughy with right cinnamon to sugar balance. The gooey delicateness of it made it all the more of a treat. The place is cash only and you just walk up to the counter and place your order. The host was nice and struck up a cheerful conversation.

Five stars for the cinnamon roll, two stars for service, one star for my Americano, so I’m averaging that out to three stars. We got to this place around 2:20, and they were out of rolls. Their last batch of the day was in the oven and coming out around 2:40, so we prepaid, got a couple of Americanos, and waited for the rolls to bake. The women working there were a little bit short with us, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were just busy. However, they don’t get the benefit of the doubt on my terrible Americano. It was horribly watered down, like extra weak coffee, and it made the 20-minute wait feel really long. The cinnamon roll was absolutely worth the wait, with a burnt, crusty bottom, and moist, fluffy insides. It was perfect, one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had, and I’m glad we got them straight out of the oven. We got it with cream cheese frosting, but it was really good without the frosting, too. They sold out of the fresh batch immediately, so it was good that we had reserved ours. I found it odd that they didn’t make more, because a lot of people came by from smelling the rolls and didn’t get to try one. Around 2:45, they started packing up all the chairs and tables from the sidewalk, so we definitely felt rushed. If I lived nearby, I’d probably be there all the time, but I really wish they were a little bit more friendly.
