My wife and I both had a 90 minute massage from Asako 2 days after we arrived in Maui for our 9 day honeymoon. We are not strangers to massage and both agree that she gave us each one of the best massages we’ve ever had. The massages were professional and therapeutic using several modalities and the price was so much less than the the other massage places with all the fluff and extras. They really set the tone for the remainder of our stay. Kaulana was very good at getting back to me to make appointments after I contacted her through Unilocal. I suggest you make an appointment before you get to Maui so you can get your massage shortly after arriving. You won’t regret it. I also had another 60 minute massage from Asako the morning of the day we left the island.

Great $ 85 hour and half massage, possibly the ONLY $ 85 Lomi Lomi 90 minute massage on the island, given the other prices we saw (yikes).
Mid Pacific is smack dab in the middle of an active medical clinic, in their Therapy room, so don’t expect fluffy slippers, green tea, outdoor cabanas or dead silence. Do expect a good massage.
Kaulana knows what she’s doing, is interesting to talk to about the island she grew up on and also knows when to let you zone out.

Kaulana was so, so fantastic! I’m so happy I was able to meet with her on my last trip to Maui.
I’d been struggling with some upper back pain that kept me from sleeping comfortably. Kaulana was able to completely work out the knots and I’ve been so happy every since. Not only was she able to pinpoint that area that needed work she gave me a wonderfully relaxing total body massage. I felt so great! Relaxed yet renewed.
I wish I lived closer so I could go see her regularly!

I’m so glad I found Kaulana through Unilocal.My neck and shoulders were killing me after sitting on the plane for 6 hours. I got a combination massage with focus on the above areas and she did a great job. The neck work was intense, but I breathed through it and over the next few days it loosened up quite a bit. If your looking for a therapeutic massage, this is a great place to go!

Kaulana was awesome. Her background is in physical therapy-​type rehab, so she knows her stuff. She worked wonders on my shoulders and neck. If you want to pay double to have an ocean view and a lower quality massage, be my guest. But if you really want to relax and get some knots out, this is the way to go.

My wife and I went into get massages from Kaulana yesterday. She was great! She knows a variety of different techniques and switches between them based on what you want and what is needed in different areas. She is very professional and knowledgable. I would highly recommend Kaulana. She charges a very reasonable price (less than other masseuses I looked into on Maui) and even holds a Masters degree in massage therapy.
