Key To The Rockies Lodging

Worst stay in the mountains in my 30 years of living in Colorado,
I specifically called this management company requesting a family friendly condo within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. While Snowdance Manor is in Mountain House, I was assured there was everything we needed within walking distance. I had no idea what Mountain House meant and only requested we be able to be close to food, shopping, and activities. Upon checkin, staff basically handed us our keys and sent us on our way, not even explaining where the Snowdance Manor was. Our condo was fine. Pretty clean except the nasty humidifiers and the sheets that still smelled like mens deodorant or cologne. We left the condo to explore and were HIGHLY disappointed in the surrounding area. We were not in Keystone to ski, but to spend time with our 3 little kids (2 months, 2, and 4) exploring, eating, shopping, and having a fun get-​away. Mountain House is just a little ski base for Keystone. Lift-​ticket counters, ski rentals, first aid station. This is not a buzzing tourist area at all. Key to the Rockies should have been up-​front about the location of the condo when I called to ask. Additionally, the «restaurant» that was within walking distance, actually sharing a parking lot, is also a late-​night bar that was directly out the window of the condo we were staying in. It was loud all night. Fireworks being set off. People outside smoking and yelling. Even after the bar closed, the party continued outside our window, as was evidence by the beer cans, cigarettes, and even someones phone left outside on the steps. My family was up all night. We played bed switch a few times and barely got any sleep at all. For anyone who has kids, you know that traveling and staying in new places is already difficult, but this was the worst experience we have had traveling with children yet. We were supposed to spend two nights in Keystone, but ended up checking out the next morning. The manager we spoke to said she believed they had not misrepresented the location and we could have easily looked up what the next door «restaurant» was… Really?! As a management company, we were trusting YOU to tell us all about the condo and surrounding location! Otherwise, I would have simply booked directly through AirBnB or VRBO. I spent the time to call Key to the Rockies so I could be sure we were getting a family friendly place.
Condo was fine. Great for young people who want to party and/​or ski. Right off the highway.
Lesson learned: ALWAYS stay in RiverRun and pay the extra money it costs to be there.

Could not have had a better stay in keystone. When booking they were incredibly knowledgeable about the resorts and helped us pick the best to suit our families needs, check in was a breeze, our stay at the springs was perfect and they even gave us a bottle of wine at checkout! Highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.

We booked a last minute trip through Keys to the Rockies a local property management company in Keystone. They are able to offer all types of lodging including condos or single family homes. Their conveniently located office was very close to our condo and their friendly staff were very helpful and knowledgable whether it was finding the appropriate lodging or recommending activities and restaurants. The lodging was exactly as represented and provided us with an awesome vacation experience. The meticulously maintained condo had spectacular views of the mountain, a hot tub, very comfortable beds and a deck with a gas grill. Whenever an issue came up with a member of our party, from forgotten phone chargers to ski rentals the staff of «Keys to the Rockies» were there for us. Highly recommend this company and we will be using them again when we come back this summer for a fishing and hiking expedition.
I was surprised to learn that their staff managed over 30 weddings during the last year securing not only lodging but mountain venues and caterers.

When I first checked in the staff was really nice and helpful. Upon arrival to the room my family and I realized A) it was not Handicap accessible B) it was not as nice or clean as it was in the pictures. I found a bug in one of the beds. I complained to the management and her reaction to the bug was to suggest I brought it in with me. She also told me that handicap guests need to note their handicap upon reservation because they only have one handicap room. (We were given a room on the 3^rd floor with no elevator access) She gave us some options 1) to upgrade however, they would not wave the fee 2) have the room cleaned 3) move to a room on the 1^st floor for no charge and they would clean the room b4 we move into it. This place was gross!!! Stay at Keystone’s Resort instead or anywhere else.

Key To The Rockies’ friendly and knowledgeable staff was absolutely essential to our Keystone vacation having turned out as great as it did! Patrice helped us find a beautiful condo located at The Springs that met all of our wants and needs. The in town location was perfect! Just a short walking distance to the Keystone Village and the event that we were in town for. And the on site pool was so much fun — and almost a necessity, as it was a real scorcher the weekend we were visiting! We had an awesome time in Keystone and will most DEFINITELY be calling Key To The Rockies again for our next round of Keystone lodging needs!

Key to the Rockies is a management company for condos and such in the Keystone area. We used them for the first time this last weekend, and enjoyed our condo very much. The condo was independently owned, and I am sure that the experience would vary from place to place quite a bit, but we stayed in the Pines complex.
We went to the office to pick up keys and such, and while it wasn’t a fast check in, they were friendly. They also allowed us an early check in, which worked out great for us.
The only issue that I would say is that we were told that there was a CO2 monitor beeping, which was when we got there, but they said it would be dealt with shortly. When we got back later in the evening, it was still beeping, which was annoying, and we ultimately just took out the battery.
On a whole, we would use them again.
