They cook a good steak, perfectly. Their dressings are all house made and Delicious. They even offer toppers for your beef steak, I enjoy bernaise sauce. Burger and Seafood menus to please other pallets. A full bar and friendly staff. I haven’t left hungry yet! A hidden gem in Keyport don’t be shy!

I loved it. We had the prime rib and the rib eye. Both tasted excellent. The service even to the guy who did the water and cleared dishes, was amazing, and the live music was excellent. The only thing is that I actually miss the old location. It was quainter and more authentic. This new location is kind of like they were trying to mix county with classy. But overall, great experience and I would go back.

We used to come to Whiskey Creek many years ago when it was across the street and packed. The food was fantastic but after a few years we noticed the quality dropped off and the food lacked flavor. We returned after they were on one of those reality cooking shows. Their burgers were so good my wife would literally hum while she ate them which NEVER happens in the Pacific NW. We heard the owners were unhappy with what the show did and moved so we were nervous. We recently moved back into the area and thought we’d give it a try. Don’t bother. They screwed up a plain cheeseburger twice because my wife didn’t specify she wanted it dry. They never asked how she wanted it cooked but it was a frozen patty anyway so maybe it doesn’t matter. The garlic mashed potatoes pretty much just taste like sour cream. And the prime rib is definitely not worth the price. As for the atmosphere it’s like dining at the Ramada Inn. The only thing I can say is the scotch was a healthy portion.

The Magic is Gone. Prob’ly left in the old building with the food quality. Is this what happens when a restaurant relocates from a funky wood structure that makes fire inspectors wake in the night screaming? Now the place has the sterile feel of a cheap Chinese buffet. Hard, shiny and loud. All this would be forgiven if the food was unchanged. But the food was awful. The fries weren’t cooked thoroughly and arrived at the table room temperature with the consistency of a silicone fish lure. Cold buns and both burgers(medium and medium rare) overcooked. Nothing as depressing as a gray, dry meat patty containing bits that crunch and bounce. Yuck. And I’m not even mentioning the Bad Egg in the cobb salad. The first explanation was that the egg was fertilized: that was the reason for the sublime discoloration and odor. When that explanation was sent back as underdone, the next attempt, after consulting the Interweb, was to say that it was from the inkstamp on the egg. Oh, really? Which leaked all the way through the white through to the yoke. And the third explanation: it’s from overcooking. Oh, no, it’s not. I’ve overcooked more batches of eggs than they can shake a rooster at and there’s no visual or olfactory similarity. What a disappointment. Know how to have a good meal at the New Whiskey Creek? Pile lots of stuff on your burger and make sure half or more of your tab is from the bar. That’ll teach us not to listen to Spouse’s verdict on the two times he tried to eat there…

Whiskey Creek Steakhouse is a great restaurant in my hometown! The Western motif inside the restaurant is authentic! We’ve had multiple birthday celebrations, reunions and parties here and the staff are amazing. The fries are original made by Whiskey Creek. Delicious. Did I mention my aunt is a waitress here?

Excellent food, service, and pricing. Rustic feel at this small town, comfort/home style steakhouse. We will return for sure. I have been in food service, professionally, for 16 years, and have zero complaints. The top sirloin was cooked perfectly medium and perfectly seasoned. The fries were actual cut potatoes! Home made ranch was amazing.

The wings are really good— but I’ll still never go back. The service is so bad it feels like they’re TRYING to suck. Seriously takes like 40 minutes to pay the bill every time. I’ve learned my lesson… and won’t be returning.

Thought we would check this place out. HUGEMISTAKE! After waiting 45 mins for appetizers they came to the table cold. The service is the worse imaginable. Never once did our server come tell us there was a problem and only after getting up twice to find her did it come to the table for the high prices you would think the owners would train their staff. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! WEWALKEDOUT!

I miss their old building it was so much nicer! This new building seems cold, plain and not very comfortable. I feel the quality of food changed since they moved. Very sad because I truly loved this place years back!

Went here for lunch and was presently surprised. We just relocated to the area and are finding that there are a lot of average restaurants in the area. So when we had GREAT service from a very friendly server and delicious food, we were very happy. The place wasn’t crowded for lunch, so the food came quick and the beverages were refilled often. I had the Hawaiian swine roll up(ham/pineapple/avocado/bacon/teriyaki in a tomato tortilla) with fries. My wife had the BLTA(bacon/lettuce/tomato/avocado) with fries. The food was plated nicely, there were ample fries and the flavor was very good. Pleasantly the bacon was crisp;(not the over-thick slices like so many places use, making it more like jerky than bacon) and abundant. The veggies were crisp and the avocado was soft, but not mushy. I would go here again for their lunch. All items ranged between $ 9-$ 13; our lunches were $ 10 each.

Don’t call yourself a steakhouse. My boyfriend had the filet and I had the ribeye. When the waiter brought our meal both steaks were severely over cooked with no seasoning. We sent them both back. The next set of steaks were cooked better but had no flavor. Never in my life have I had to add SALT to a steak just to give it ANY flavor! Service was good but I hated the meal. We thought returning the first set of steaks would allow them to redeem themselves since we heard good things about the restaurant. Unfortunately, they did not. I was so disappointed, especially when they knew we were unhappy. They took $ 6 off of the $ 70 tab. We will never return.

Unfortunate dining experience. The star was earned by our server who was polite, friendly, and overall great. The food was not at all what we remembered from our last trip to Whiskey Creek, about 3 years ago… hot summer night, dinner time and my husband says we haven’t been to Whiskey Creek in years. Short story the food was equivalent to Shari’s with the unexpected bonus of both my husband and I feeling urgently ill before we even left the restaurant.

Pretty good place for steak, so far the best in this area. A little pricey for the size stakes they are offering and steak was not cooked the same way throughout it was purple on one end(which is how it was ordered) and pink on the other end. It was worth the money however the chef did a fantastic job preparing the seasoning for the steak. I would recommend this place go anyone. The garlic fries here were the best in the area that I have found so far. The fries themselves were real cut potatoes and the garlic laid on-top was mixes with other herbs. VERYGOOD!!! The mixed green salad was huge and had great presentation, I ordered it with salmon which was a little over cooked. Mix it all together and it was fine! we came on a Saturday night and they had a guitarist playing and he did a fantastic job. Knew a lot and mixed up the genres keep everyone in the restaurant entertained. The waitress is what made my experience! Her knowledge of the menu and willingness to go and get the info she did not have far exceeded my expectation. All in all I will be coming back here with friends and family. This is clearly my steak house in the PACNORWEST!!! Pictures of the meal was a attached!

I’ve been to whiskey creek two weekends in a row now. The food is great. I’ve tried the burgers and the halibut and both were delicious. definitely like the pricing of the happy hour menu opposed to their regular menu prices which are very pricey. still good food though. One definite recommendation is that they need to have a designated dance floor. They have been having music on the weekends and the guy that’s been playing while I’m there Cory Lee is awesome. people want to dance and I’ve noticed people moving tables out of the way so they can dance. It would be nice if whiskey creek staff would just have a designated spot. We’ll definitely be back!!! Its nice to have a local place with good food, drinks, and good live music.:)

Just wanted to update that they’re very much opened. I have not been there but I gave them a call today to see if they were opened, they answered promptly and even added that they will be playing music.

Several of us go to Whiskey Creek after work on Thursday for drinks and wings. If you want the best food and drink, go to WC. Tom and Butch are the VERY best servers and we always have a great time. Love this place! :)

Improving. We went back to Whiskey Creek last week and I was happy to see the steak burger back on the menu. Service was much better this visit and their split pea soup special was delicious. Only three stars because of the prices, but solid improvements.

My fiancée and I had some of the best ribs and coleslaw we’ve EVER had!!! The restaurant also had live country music and great drinks! I’ve never been to Poulsbo but if I ever come back, I’ll make sure to return to Whiskey Creek!

With the memory of their old location fresh in my mind(dark, gloomy, kept expecting to tread in blood-sodden sawdust), I had high hopes for their new spot across the road. While the steaks at their previous locale were tasty — if a little pricey — the dark and draughty atmosphere always put a dampener on things. It seems like they’ve taken heed of customer’s comments and opted to ditch the mood-hoovering dark timber panels and gone for a brighter style of décor. A wide open dining area, with cosy booths makes for a far, far better eating experience. As we were there on a Saturday, we were able to listen to some cracking live music while we ate. Our waitress was brilliant, very willing to substitute items as required. The food was as before — tasty, mountainous but a little overcooked. My partner and I ordered medium steaks, and they arrived closer to well done. But, as we’re not keen on food waste we ate them anyway. Everyone in our party was content and we left satisfied. If not massively wowed.

First time I’ve been to Whiskey Creek since they moved across the street. I liked their old place better — it seemed nicer, more intimate. The new place seems very plain. They brought over some of the decorations that were made by the Restaurant Impossible TV show, but the overall impression was just sorta meh. Food was fine. I liked the new menu they did with the TV show, but I guess they didn’t like it and reverted to their old stuff. I had a burger and fries, and they were fine. Service was friendly and prompt. Overall, it was fine, but there wasn’t anything that left me saying«wow, that was good enough to make me want to drive all the way out here to Keyport again.»
