This shop has delicious ice cream. Great place to grab something sweet after a meal in Keyport. Many gluten free selections, including the soft serve. An abundance of ice cream, Italian ice flavors. The owners are really nice and friendly. Grab a cone and head down by the water to enjoy the view.

I love Uncle Louie G’s they have the best ice cream, large selection, friendliest service and they really care about making the customer happy. I go in and get a cup and sit out in the waterfront park across the street and watch the boats coming and going. sometimes there is even an outdoor concert going on. I never go anywhere else

Simply the best ice cream and ices ever! Uncle Louie G’s is our go to place at least once a week. John & Vinny are amazing and committed to the community. Whether serving their fabulous ices and ice creams at a civic organization or hosting an in-​store fundraiser for the school, Uncle Louie G’s is an integral, astounding part of our community. (Try the vanilla snickers when you go. It’s the best!)

Favorite local place to stop in for a quick sweet treat! Everything is delicious and service is great! I stopped in with my son and mother about a week ago on a busy night, my son dropped his cone on the floor and within a minute the man behind the counter walked over with a new one. Very nice of him on such a busy night!

I’m sorry but I have no idea how this place gets 4.5 stars. Their ice cream is completely unremarkable. Service was friendly but they got my order wrong and it wasn’t even very complicated: one scoop coffee one scoop chocolate. I somehow wound up with chocolate and vanilla.
The worst part however was the so called hot fudge. It was watery and I tasted more high fructose corn syrup than chocolate. I think it was yoo hoo in a plastic jar.

I’ve been visiting Uncle Louie G’s in Keyport since it opened. Not only are their ice cream and Italian ice flavors delicious, their service is always fabulous. We buy ice cream for a family of five, so we’ve tasted a large variety of flavors as well as had shakes, banana splits and sundaes and have never been disappointed!
Besides the amazing treats, the atmosphere is perfect. Keyport has that small town feel and Uncle Louie G has that same great feeling to it. They do all sorts of events to help support the local community. We are always greeted with a smile when we walk in, no matter how busy it might be.
There’s no place else I’d even think about going for my ice cream needs that this great little gem right in Keyport!

Pistachio Nutz ice cream is on point… then I tried the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough… delicious! There was plenty of space to sit. It was really quiet. Service isn’t overly friendly, but I wasn’t there to eat the staff. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but it was nice to try out.

Nice place to visit for dessert after a meal at McDonagh’s or Nemo’s. I enjoyed an Italian ice with cherry, strawberry and mango. The shop is bright and shiny and the flavor choices are endless. We got coffee next door at Espresso Joe’s then walked across the street to listen to Don Lee perform at the Friday nite music series.

Worth a trip. It’s a very special place! You can always tell an owner-​operated place! Uncle Louie is in the house and serving up a massive variety of Italian ice and ice cream some without sugar. I had the peanut butter cup Italian ice. It was so flavorful with the right combination of creamy peanut butter flavor and little chunks of delicious dark chocolate. I was sorry that I only ordered a small, Everything is fresh made, the place is immaculate and Uncle’s demeanor makes you feel at home. I would love to have this place near home. Alas its in Keyport… but worth the trip!

Great selection and super friendly service. Had an amazing butter pecan ice cream. Right in the heart of Keyport. It’s a must visit for after dinner.
