Truly a hole in the wall Mexican experience. Authentic and worthy of a visit. Only 4 or 5 tables.
Love the cactus, Spanish onions and grilled jalapeños along with guacamole. They put black beans and cheese on the house tortillas. Multiple hot sauces. Always order Mexican style tacos featuring; tripe, tongue, brain (when available), and traditional toppings. Always a 2 in one taco.
$ 22 to feed 4 with sodas is exceptional value where ever you dine. BYOB Bonus!

My husband has wanted to try this place for awhile since our usual Mexican place is far away… it was the most disgusting enchilada I have ever had. Just like the reviewer before said, I had bone and skin and the taste made me sick to my stomach. I didn’t even finish it
Do not eat at this place, the only place worse than this was a mexican resturant in downtown Keyport that featured PIGEON on their menu…

I ordered some take out from this Mexican restaurant when visiting the Keyport waterfront with family. I always enjoy authentic Mexican food versus the typical tex-​mex. We ordered their guacamole, which was pretty good with a hint of lime and spices. The chips seemed a little stale and greasy. We also ordered beef empanadas, but were given ones with chicken. I also ordered chicken quesadillas, but found that the chicken inside had some bones and skin, which I thought was odd. With so many Mexican places in the area, I’ll probably try a different one the next time I’m in the area.
