Stole money from my friends credit card and told him basically tough s. They did not return the money or care to make it right. More than $ 600!

The location right on Roosevelt is nothing special, but they have created a sheltered hideaway that is very interesting and quite enjoyable. Once seated we had to wait quite a bit to get the appropriate attention and service, but this was a management problem, not a server problem. Our server Martina was enjoyable, fresh and responsive. However the restaurant clearly was understaffed, the bartender seemed to appear and then disappear, and their ordering system was down. When we had some challenges we never saw a manager once much less a visit to our table. The meal itself was okay, but way overpriced for the setting and quality. Not sure I would recommend a return when there are so many other options.

Very good food! I got the fish tacos and the stoned soup(very good loved the spices). The manager was very funny she runs out and said everybody needs to get in its going to rain any min! We were a bit bummed because the deck is very cute right on the water. Sure enough it was down pouring seconds after they helped us bring the food in. We didn’t try the stoned crab. It probably would of been really good but for the price we just didn’t feel the need to try it. Maybe next time :) I would go here again.

The atmosphere is the only thing that gets 5 stars. It’s a great place to sit and eat and drink. We ate at the bar. Never thought I’d say this but wayyyy too chatty of a bartender. He then offered to make us a drink bc he’s a «superior mixologist» but we aren’t tourists and were boring. We drink the same thing all the time. Don’t need a concoction. Everything was about infused this and flavorful that. Now, I’m a foodie but most things here were seafood boils. Not really gourmet. For the food. Not good. Expensive for what you had. If it costs $ 130 for 2 people to eat, everything should be on par. They serve the sweet Hawaiian rolls. Salad wasn’t great. At all. Mostly all lettuce. The biggest disappointment was the buttery dip and cocktail sauce. Gross. It tasted like old oil. We gagged. The cocktail sauce is like store bought SWEET cocktail sauce. Definitely not home made. Good cocktail sauce has horseradish and tingles and dances on your tongue. They brag about the seafood being fresh and local. Fine. But it’s nothing to write home about. There are way too many other fantastic places on the island to eat a much better meal.

Even though most of the reviews we saw were bad, I love seafood so had to give it a try. So glad we did the food was great. we both had steamer pots. They were chuck full and yummy. The service was pretty good, they were back and forth but our waitress didnt notice the need to replenish drinks.

First time trying crab and we got the Stone Crab of course to start which was excellent with the sauce. As well as one of the steamer pots with lobster, crab, shrimp with corn and potatoes which was the perfect meal for a dinner for two. So delicious and fun to eat! Great server and experience. Highly recommend!

Eat here if you want Overpriced, average food. I feel like my pockets were picked. After eating here, I don’t believe the marketing hype of fresh, right from the boat seafood. It tasted like freshly thawed crab claws, Served cold. Don’t eat here. You have been warned.

Beautiful, fun place with excellent food! Neither my fiancée nor I had ever had stone crab, so it was a new and delicious experience! The stone crab is sweet and ridiculously fresh, and the sauce they serve is to die for. My fiancée had shrimp tacos and I had the grouper tacos, and they were fantastic! Our server, Sunshine, was completely delightful, helpful, and such a sweetheart, and he really made our first meal in Key West a memorable time! I highly recommend you eat here!

First time to the keys and was not happy at all. Ordered the seafood steamer and it came out cold. Had to send it back. Second we order the 75 $ tower of seafood and worth it. We found several different place on the island cheaper and much better food.

We had an excellent experience. We went on an early afternoon and were seated by the water. The cook kept coming out the back and feeding the little nurse sharks the leftovers from the fish they were filleting. As he was feeding the little sharks, the fish appeared very fresh. I wish I would have ordered some! Our bucket had stone crab claws, shrimp and snow crab. The stone crab and shrimp were excellent. The legs of the snow crab were good but I didn’t love the meat in the connecting parts. The calamari was solid with a yummy aioli. They had an excellent grapefruit beer that went perfect with the meal. Evidently the taps change often so you have to ask. They pride themselves in getting the freshest product.

What a good dinner we had last nite after reading this Unilocal recommendation. We had the chowder, the fried seafood dinner and the bay steamer boil. It’s not cheap but I don’t mind paying a little extra for good food. We sat on the deck for dinner. I also used the Unilocal coupon to save $ 10.00.

Yummy! And fun. The fritters, oysters and crab legs are top notch. Music is awesome. Ina is the BEST. We’re staying at the Ibis which is also amazing. What a great set up they have here. Don’t miss it.

Fresh grouper is a real treat and these folks say they catch their own. I had mine grilled and it sure tasted fresh. I’d say it was a 4 – 5 ounce portion for $ 22 with salad and fries. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Bike parking was on the lot next to the restaurant, which seemed odd on an island where most people use bikes or scooters to some degree. Overall, a very pleasant lunch.

Do not eat here! This restaurant that is over priced and the food is bad. We paid $ 75 for a 3lb yellowtail ed snapper which was the only tasty part of our meal. The bread and sides were totally forgettable. We three most of them out. My friend only ate a few bites of her ceviche. She said the barrel fish that was in it was tough and chewy. Our waiter and his trainee were not very attentive. A bad experience for our last night in Key West. So many other places to go… skip this one totally

Poor service was a bad start but we were hungry so we stayed, bad choice! Crab boil for $ 39 is a total rip off, tiny bucket of previous frozen crabs. If you are in Key West you should at least do seafood better than on the mainland and cheaper. And by the way. teach your staff how to serve and be attentive. Will never be back}

First time visiting Key West and had a bad start of the day. Please note that this is in September(slow season), and will keep this review short as possible. — We asked what’s their special entrée with lobster. Waiter states they have lobster tail available for $ 58.99 per pound. We then skipped on that offer and found out that they have«LOBSTERTAILSALAD», that cost only $ 10.00. Shame… The lobster tail was pretty good size for the price. — Ordered a dozen oysters and all of them came out small(about a quarter size), but the taste was there though. We asked why the oysters were so small? Waiter states that it’s seasonal. Would’ve been appreciated to give us a heads up about the size. — Ordered the conch fritters that they said they were famous for. Turned out to be full of batter. Garbage. — The worst part was«gratuity». There was only a party of 4 people. Waiter stated that this is a slow season and it’s their policy to add gratuity of 18% on top of the final price. Not sure where the policy came from but that’s just ridiculous. They should’ve told us from the very beginning. This whole experience just made us feel like we weren’t welcomed to Key West. Later on the night, we went walking along the sunset pier and found a taco stand. That made our day a bit better. I’d recommend to stay somewhere near Duval st. Many more restaurants our there to try.

I was looking forward to an amazing dinner with my wife and our first stone crab experience. Upon getting a refill of my Pepsi it seemed flat and off. I drank about 1⁄3 of it and offered a sip to my wife. While passing it to her she noticed something on the inside of glass. It turned out to be 15 or 20 dead ants on inside of glass and floating in my drink. Immediately my wife got sick to her stomach. I lost my appetite and called waiter over who was nonchalant about it. He was gone for a few minutes and my wife saw Scott, our waiter, discussing with another waiter. The manager Bill came over to them after a few minutes and happened to notice the nauseous look on my wife’s face and came over to ask what was wrong. She informed him that my glass was full of dead ants. He said he was taking care of it. After about five minutes Bill came over and made excuses about how he tested all the nozzles and they all were clean. I tried to explain to him that my glass came back with flat soda and I think he got the wrong glass off the bar. He wouldn’t let me finish as he was already back peddling and moving away which torqued me. He said he’d see about a dessert for us. I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t finish my crab cakes and my wife still had half of her $ 50 crabs on her plate or we would have left. It took her along time to finish them and she was so nauseous she almost couldn’t finish them. It ruined her night and she had been looking forward to them for 3 weeks as we are from Arizona. I told the waiter to just bring our check when he asked if we’d like dessert. I said we were both grossed out and not hungry at this point. He brought the check and I gave him Credit card when he arrived at table unfortunately without looking first. I saw my charge appear on my iPhone and new they didn’t comp anything before looking at bill. I was astonished that they still had the nerve to charge me for my Pepsi! I saw Bill, the manager, as I grabbed my wife to leave and looked him in the face and said, «I can’t believe you had the nerve to charge me for my drink still!» He just looked at me and said nothing in return. I told him in response to his blank look, «the worst service ever… Ever!» Still nothing so we walked out! Their slogan on their cheesy billboard out front says something to the effect of, the best place to get stoned… Crab. Seems as if Bill and Steve might have been more of the former than the latter! Ruined what started out as a nice and memorable dinner in Key West. Now it’s memorable for all the wrong reasons! My first Unilocal review! Never been so compelled.

We happened upon this place on the recommendation of a family member that lives in the area. They have open air seating and we were seated right next to the water which was very nice on a warm night. Our server, Vivian was very pleasant and informative, explaining how they harvest the stone crab claws without killing the crab itself. They just remove one claw and release. The restaurant was kind of empty on a weeknight. We didn’t feel rushed so we were able to catch up with the family member over a great meal. My wife ordered the medium Stone Crab appetizer which came with their mustard cocktail sauce and our waitress also brought over some fresh melted butter as that is her favorite way of eating the crab. It was a little pricey for an appetizer but it was enough for my wife and I even got to taste. For my entrée I ordered the pesto seared chicken with grilled asparagus and their soul slaw. Just be prepared to leave with a full belly and a lighter wallet. But, we were taking my relative out for a birthday dinner.
