Great time, highly recommend. Food was wonderful, the service was very good, a little pricy but pretty fair compared to other key west restaurants. Would totally come back. The wife had the spicy ceviche roll and I had the black and bleu ahi tuna… Both of us were content after this meal. Give them a shot.

Amazing! We have gone twice in three days! We had the traditional white fish ceviche with pineapple and the avocado volcano the first night. I think I may try to re-create the avocado volcano when I go home. Tonight, we went during happy hour. Great deals on drinks and all appetizers and ceviche is 20% off! We had a ceviche roll, and it was delicious! Great textures and flavors!

If you like Ceviche this is the place!!! We shared the mixed ceviche to start and the fried snapper for main — more than enough for two people and just awesome service!

This restaurant was an excellent choice for our first night in Key West. The mixed Yellowtail ceviche was extraordinary. The diver scallops and the Peruvian fried rice were both very good. Topped off with the best Key Lime pie and great service left us very full and glad we stopped in.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was excellent! The atmosphere was cool but casual. We got a table right away and our food came quickly. And the food was memorable. We started with a ceviche special, seafood and cilantro. It was tart and flavorful; I’m not the biggest fan of ceviche but it was good. The cilantro really helped the citrus«pop.» I ordered the Peruvian fried rice with beef and we both choked down. It was well balanced and the beef was pleasantly tender. My favorite was the Pollo Locco: it was pounded and lightly fried, topped with a tomato sauce and delicious cheese… it reminded me of veal but without all the cruelty. Our server was super attentive, friendly and nice.

Solid spot for drinks and ceviche. Atmosphere was air conditioned, modern, and spacious. Ceviche was on point, but our favorite was the sushi rolls. Fish entre was a little on the dry side but not bad. Service was fine.

Artfully created culinary sensations! The flavored are layered on top of each other and is more than just eating, it’s a multi-sensory experience. So much flavor packed into every bite! Insiders tip– ask for the Peruvian hot sauce. It’s completely different than anything made In the US. The heat grows gently when in your mouth but is not unbearable at all. Patrick was helpful not only in explaining the menu but in recommending other local hot spots as well. Décor is very well done. Restaurant is very roomy.

Nice space! The ceviche was delicious, would recommend! Other than that the service was very bad, waiter took my drink before I finished it and when he asked how the food was and I shared that the grilled octopus was over cooked to the point it almost bounced off my plate, he responded with«ok!» and walked away. The tuna entrée was ok, not bad but not great. Overall, would not go back nor recommend.

You’ll get a meal here, but it won’t be memorable and you may wonder if you should walk out of the restaurant due to poor service. After being seated for 20 minutes I politely asked if our server knew we were waiting or had«forgotten» about us. He shortly approached the table, flipped open his notepad and looked blankly at us without saying anything. We ordered, he scribbled and he left without any sort of acknowledgement(or apology for the wait). He recovered a bit throughout the meal but there were several unhappy tables around us and the whole energy from the servers felt negative. The food was fine. Nothing«wowed» me and by the end I was glad that the meal was over and I could pay and leave.

We went here for Near Years Eve dinner. The place was pleasant. Good menu selections. We had a slight seating issue that was not solved by the restaurant but by ourselves, simple stuff like sitting area was too tight and table wabbled(i hate that) but once we solved everything was back on track. Server didn’t do a good job covering specials but we heard another server tell their table so we knew what was up. We have a seafood pasta and a almond crusted grouper. Both were 7 on a scale of 10, so pretty darn good.

This is a nice big place inside. It was not at all busy when we stopped in. We decided to sit at the bar for the happy hour specials. The tuna sashimi was good but covered in way to much of a spicy sauce that overpowered the flavor. The seafood salad had good seafood, but the salad was way too bitter from too much lime juice. The grilled Octopus over mashed potatoes were very nice. Service was great. Overall we did not enjoy the meal and probably would not return.

We selected this place based on the Unilocal reviews. According to the hostess this is a rebranding of an existing restaurant. They’ve been I’ve been about six months. I’ll order the scallops with Rizzo toe. The presentation was nice but the scallops were gritty. My husband had the tuna which was encrusted with sesame seeds and seasoning. It was served over vegetables. The fish was not fresh. Our companions had the snapper served over roasted vegetables they loved it. We had the Caroline’s Lemonade cocktail. It’s pretty tart but tastes ok. Service was a little slow but friendly.

Definitely some of the freshest flavors and best prepared seafood we have ever eaten. We started with toasted Peruvian corn to kind of set the mood, and upon the suggestion of the waiter the conch and lobster ceviche. Excellent and served with sweet corn and lime juice to complement the fish. We got two different entrees a flash fried hogfish served whole and a double stuffed lobster tail. Obviously these were heavy entrees but expertly prepared, albeit a tremendous amount of food. Ivan our waiter was attentive yet not obtrusive, and had good knowledge of the menu and specials as well as the preparations. A newer place, It looked very empty inside which almost kept us from going. But don’t let that stop you it was awesome and there was no wait. The only complaint I had was the waiter doing an overly good job of up selling everything. So our $ 30 lobster special became $ 42 when we added a lobster tail, and we ordered one ceviche, we planned sharing, but brought two orders, and two charges :)… Who cares we ate it and we might go back as we are here for another couple of days.

Figured we would try something new in KW. Food was spot on, the drinks even better! The restaurant was newer inside and could considered to be spotless… well done. A bit different atmosphere than what you find in KW, but it was a welcomed change as we have been to KW a few times. Portions were generous and fresh… very impressed. Service was so-so, but we had a trainee and newer server with the trainee… either way they were super nice and I wish them luck! Happy we tried something new!

I’m a ceviche snob so I don’t take these kind of review lightly, but this place is a solid 5. I visited on a Thursday so I do not know how crowded is during the weekend. Service was great and the food was delicious. Portions for ceviche are fair and if you order a mixed one can be easily split between two people. They combine spicy and sweet flavors so this makes an interesting approach to ceviche, although Peruvian ceviche is known for this. I ordered the stuffed lobster and it turned out a bit too sweet because of the sashimi sauce they put but it was a good dish overall. The dessert … I had the interesting Suspiro Limeño, which is not made for diabetics but is very very yummy. I think this place is a must in key west. You should go too.

This restaurant is big, clean and beautiful. Five stars for the design and interior decoration. The entire serve staff appeared to be male. The restaurant was 20% full yet it took forever to bring our sangria and ice tea. The sangria was the worst I’ve ever tasted. I realize you aren’t supposed to use a good wine to make sangria but it’s should not taste like a bitter cheap crappy wine. I had to put two packets of sugar in it to create something that resembled sangria. The meal did not start off right when I’m served a tiny glass from the cheapest wine imaginable, the wine is not sweet, the bartender did not add any sweet ingredient and there are no fruits in it. I would not mind paying the $ 12 if it was good or at least mediocre sangria. This vinegary joke of a drink was unpardonable. The food saved this review from being one star. I don’t know if I’ve finally acquired the taste for ceviche or if it was so good that there is no way anyone could not love this snapper and seafood ceviche dish. We also had the ají de gallina – it’s a Peruvian comfort food – and possibly the best I’ve ever had. The ceviche and ají de gallina was better than that of CVI. CHE105 – one of the top Peruvian restaurants in Miami, and the restaurant where the chef here supposedly worked. We finished our meal realizing we weren’t served any bread or offered any water and the waiter kind of checked out once we ordered our meal. Summary: beautiful place, bad drink, bad service and good food.

I love a good ceviche — and when a place is named thusly, it may just be the holy mecca of that particular fish dish. We wandered into Keyviche seeking the one ceviche to rule them all. And we found it! Or at least, we found a fantastic version of it. Peruvian folks know where it’s at and this spot’s leche de tigre & perfectly«cooked» yellow tail snapper was totally on point. They’re new so don’t expect there to be a lot of folks yet. It’s not hoppin’ in the way that I hope it will be at some point. Pricing was reasonable, my Lomo Saltado was so good(seriously, what are they using on that?) and my boyfriends Peruvian fried rice was the star. Though it really should have been the chicken which was dry. I think they’ve got some kinks to work out but the owner was incredibly nice and gave us an umbrella on the way out because it was a legit monsoon, key west style.

This review is a bit delayed. Three of us attended for dinner on opening day and tried multiple dishes to share. Here’s the scoop… The interior was tastefully remodeled with a nice eclectic vibe and an awesome logo I might add. The staff was very attentive, however being a new place with multiple new staff from varying locales around the globe, there were a few hiccups. Our server was a bit shaky on the menu items, ability to understand English clearly, and knowing the proper protocol for serving. Nonetheless, he was very sweet. FOODREVIEW:(see pics taken of each menu item) 1) Grilled Octopus over Mashed Potatoes $ 17.95: Amazing! The octopus tasted like perfectly grilled scallops. Very well executed and presented. 2) Yellowtail Ceviche with Traditional«Leche de Tigre» $ 16.95: Loved it! 3) Lomito Roll $ 14.95: Failed. No one liked it. It tasted, sour, bad or turned. We couldn’t put our finger on what the taste was that was so off putting. 4) Huancaína Salad $ 8.95(Grilled Romaine): This was delicious and very large portion. Enough for four people to share with their entreés. 5) Key Lime Pie $ 7.95. Failed. They haven’t mastered this. Not tart enough. Just meh. As far as pricing I think this is incredibly expensive for a vacation town and will most likely steer locals away from visiting more often. I will definitely go back and try different items. Hopefully the kinks have been shaken out. Best of luck to you Keyviche!
