I called this company simply to ask if they offer T-Top installation. I proceed to tell them over the phone that I purchased a T-Top from another company and I’m just looking to install it with a local company because I had purchased it from an online store who doesn’t offer installation unless you bring it to their location which is more than 10 hours driving away) When I called Key Largo Awning, the girl on the phone starts to react very negatively and begins to tell me that she doesn’t think I purchased a T-top, she thinks I purchased a bimini top. I then proceed to tell her that, in fact, I purchased a T Top and i’m just looking for someone to install it. She continues to give me an attitude and basically says she doesn’t think I know the difference between a T-Top and a bimini top. I have been a boat owner my whole life and I know the difference between the two! The employee basically insulted my knowledge of T-tops and bimini tops!!! With that attitude, I don’t think this company will be in business very long! She was very RUDE, and condescending. Key Largo Awning just lost a customer and My experience will be shared with all boat owners on my canal here in the keys! Terrible! I wonder if the owner of Key Largo Awning knows that the person at their office desk is rude and shying new customers away??? terrible business practices!
