We have eaten there numerous times in the last month and all the meals were fantastic for both lunch and dinner, we always were amazed at the quality, and the diverse menu. Not to forget the very generous portions. We will surely return next year and try meatloaf Monday!

MM fish sandwich was out of this world. The catch of the day with the godfather style was delicious. Ended with the key lime pie, of course, it was yummy. Would definitely come back one day.

We stopped by last night for dinner on our way back from Marathon. The service was great, got seated, and was served a drink right away. The waitress Jess was awesome, her suggestions for the dishes were right on. The food was amazing! The onion app was big enough for all 4 of us. We all had different entrees and they were all fabulous. The key lime pie was the bomb! Loved the outside patio dining, the house wine, and just about everything! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

I found this on Unilocal,it had pretty good reviews and it was on the way back to our hotel. so we decided to give it a try. We pulled up and there were about 20 people outside waiting for tables. We waited about 25 minutes to be seated, so we thought that it must be good if the wait is that long on a Thursday night. The service was just OK, it felt like the waitress was trying to be nice but didn’t want to be. We ordered Mozzarella sticks as the appetizer, they looked great but were lacking in flavor. The sauce tasted like microwaved spaghetti sauce. I have had better mozzarella sticks from Jack in the box. For the entrée I had the Seafood California: a linguine pasta in a white wine, butter and lemon sauce with mussels, shrimp, scallops, and lobster. The linguine was overcooked and it was more of a watered down bland soup. The lobster didn’t even taste good, that is hard to do. My fiancé had the steak au poivre, he could only stomach three bites of it and he loves steak. For the side he had the waffle fries. Those were good. The best part of the restaurant was the sweet, young hostess who wore a smile the whole time and opened the door for all guests that were leaving. It also felt like the cooks were trying and had ambition they just lacked the talent. I would like to note that we overheard that they were trying new menu items so they might just need an adjustment period.

Waited 25minutes to get seated. Hostess was very nice, server looks very busy but still managed to smile. Ordered their sloppy burger and Louisiana shrimp & scallop — both very tasty, yummy and delicious! Will go back when back in town. Located along the highway, you can’t miss this great spot!

Amazing food. The Mahi Mahi quesadilla was amazing. We also had the fish sampler was awesome. If I lived in the area I would be a regular customer. Yum!

Pretty good food and very friendly service. I got the fried shrimp and my friend got the hogfish. Both were very well prepared. Both of us are suckers for seasoned french fries — their waffles fries were some of the best. Prices reasonable and portions adequate!

I have to admit I had low expectations, but their seafood was amazing! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also had the Caesar salad. It was fresh and delicious. Got the key lime pie in a jar and the grilled chicken sandwich to go for my husband. We will see how those taste.

On our trip from Fort Lauderdale’s airport to Key West, we decided to stop for lunch at Hobo’s Café. The bar/restaurant is a casual dining experience and we decided to sit at the bar to have our lunch. The bartender was attentive and polite but certainly didn’t chat up the guests sitting around the bar. I ordered a Funky Buddha IPA and my wife went with a Diet Coke. For our meals I ordered the fish sandwich which was perfectly fried and served with cole slaw, sauce, cheese, lettuce and tomato. The Mrs. went with the Key Lime Fish Sandwich which featured lightly dusted then sautéed fish, topped with tomatoes, scallions, Parmesan and homemade Key Lime butter sauce. Both of the sandwiches were hearty and the prices were quite reasonable. The rest of the food others were eating all looked to be pretty good and the menu had several options that would have been good selections. All in all, a nice lunch experience on our way to Key West!

Our hotel was near Hobo’s so we walked to dinner. We sat on the back patio and had the best dinner we had our entire time in the Keys. Our alligator appetizer was a first for my husband and me, and it was delicious. Lots of meat and topped with fresh tomatoes and onions. Really delicious. Our waiter and the staff in general were very efficient, fast and accommodating. We have definitely put this restaurant on our return list for our next Keys adventure.

Came here for a quick pick up order since traffic into the keys was going to take days. This place is a little hidden gem for locals. Food is great and service is quick. Outside is a neutral color that if you don’t pay attention you would drive right by it. Luckily my love is a water baby and the Keys is his second home so he knows all the best spots for my appetite. We ordered 2 burgers, one cheese, the other mushroom swiss. The burgers are HUGE and you can taste the burger which I love, they weren’t drowned in condiments like other places and I like how the condiments were placed on the side(sometimes i prefer my burger with no mayo or ketchup, I am a mustard girl though) The fries were waffle fries, which if you don’t know are the best fries ever in the world. I was more than satisfied with our meal. So much so that I didn’t even need to eat dinner. I must come back and try another burger, what can i say, I’m hooked!

I took a group of 6 here on our way to Islamorada. Unilocal helped pick the perfect place again. The service was really good, and we all raved about the food. It was terrific. We had a wide variety of dishes including shrimp, mahi mahi, chicken and burger. All were terrific. I’m glad to have a go to place when driving down US1.

I’m glad we made the U-turn…Hobo’s Café should be your next stop on US1. I was expecting a decent dinner, but got a meal packed with high quality flavor and service to match. My order was for the catch of the day: pan sautéed mahi-mahi. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection in a white wine sauce that was to die for. I’m glad there was a huge portion because I couldn’t get enough! Don’t let the name fool you, Hobo’s Café is the place to eat!

Looking for a place to stop for a late lunch on our day of arrival, when we spotted Hobo’s and decided to stop. Wasn’t sure what we would find, but when we opened the door were pleasantly surprised. Décor very nice, bright and a nice mix of customer. Checking others meals saw very appetizing dishes. Menu options were also very intriguing. Ultimately selected the Mahi Mahi Ruben and it was delicious. Highly recommended. Mahi Mahi grilled to perfection and homemade coleslaw was excellent compliment. We were very intrigued with the Key Lime pie in a jar, but meal so filling had to pass. We will defiantly be back to give it and other menu options a try. I should mention all food option very reasonable priced. Not least among positive notes was service. Waitress was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable on menu. Looking forward to next visit.

This was the best restaurant we went to on our vacation! I got the MM101 Sandwich. It was very tasty! The combination of artichoke hearts, creamed spinach and peppers along with the Mahi Mahi fish was the perfect mix of flavors! Not only was their food delicious but the service was amazing and also by far the best out of any of the other restaurants we went to. The staff all worked together to make sure the food got out quickly and we always had our water glasses full. The owner himself was there helping. Our server Liz was very nice and made sure we had the best experience possible. I was very impressed with this restaurant!

Okay, here is the skinny. We only went for dessert. But the dessert was good, and we sampled most of their options. I was surprised to see that they had a dessert tray, to show you what you might like. The Key Lime in a jar is really a gimmick, better and easier to take home, but best to get the regular pie if eating there. I loved the apple walnut dessert, heated up it till it fell apart and served ala mode. My daughter loved the warm brownie sundae while my wife enjoyed the chocolate decadent dessert. The atmosphere is not exactly island, not exactly upscale, at least not to warrant the prices we saw on the menu, but what we had was delicious.

Soo glad we came here on our little trip to Key Largo! Thank you Unilocal reviewers! We ordered the conch fritters, clam chowder, and mahi mahi sandwich. The fritters were huge, steaming hot, and sooo goodd. I was also impressed by the clam chowder because being originally from Boston, I’ve had chowder many many times and I’m picky. It was one of the better chowders I’ve ever had! My partner tthought the mahi mahi sandwich was very tasty =) The service was exceptional. Our waitress Tammy made sure we were always happy and she was very cheerful and attentive. The other servers also stopped by our table to refill drinks and make sure we were doing well and it was one of the best services we’ve had to be honest. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Not as good as the reviews suggest. I was lured here by the positive reviews and we just happen to be in the vicinity. The restaurant is nice with indoor and outdoor seating and all of the servers were friendly and professional. We ordered the Fish & Chips and two soft drinks. The portion was very small and nothing spectacular to write about. The waffle fries were actually better tasting than the fish. They’re pretty overpriced for the portion that you get I wouldn’t recommend. 32 $ seems a bit much for an appetizer size fish & chips and two soda pops!

We stopped in here for some evening snacks after a recommendation from the guys at Scuba Do diving — and we are sooooo glad we did. We ordered appetizers and a dessert! We got the Award Winning Wings with both hot and Cajun sauces. Saaaay Whaaaaat! Delicious! The Cajun Waffle Fries — served pipping hot and yummy! For dessert… Key Lime Pie. We got a couple of beers and settled into a couple of seats at the bar for some great conversation with Bill the bartender and Ron the owner. Let me tell you something about this place… it is homey, warm, inviting and everyone here is super friendly! I wish we would have found this place the day before, because we would have definitely come have came back and ate here again. Do yourself a favor and get on down to Hobo’s! This will be our go to on all our diving trips to the Keys in the future!

Parkplatz voller Autos. Restaurant voller Leute. Da muss man rein. Und tatsächlich wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Nette Bedienung, grosse Portionen.
