I had a last minute appointment with Adriana. I had partial highlights, cut, blow dry, and style. The entire process took just under 3 and a half hours and the results were great. The highlights were natural looking and evenly close to the roots. The salon was clean and the receptionist were kind. Thanks Posh!

I had a great experience. Karisa did a wonderful job, she was careful, and did not rush. It was a very relaxing experience and my cut and color turned out great! The only thing I did not like about the salon was for color they want to schedule a consultation first, I’m only in town a few times a month so for me this normally doesn’t work, However the day I booked, Karisa didn’t have any appointments in the morning so she was able to do the «consultation» and color all at the same time. I also liked that she told me how much it was going to be before she even started so there were no surprises, and it was very reasonably priced so I was very pleased.

I came here last week after a friend recommended the salon and I had a consultation with Karisa. I went in there not too sure of what I wanted to do to my hair but after speaking with Karisa, I was very happy with my decision. It was obvious she knew what she was doing and talking about which really helped. I went in later in the week to start the process, and boy was it was process. I was there for a while but not for any reason other than what I wanted took a long time. Everyone that works in the salon is super sweet and helpful. I didn’t wait at all before Karisa walked me to her station. We talked a little about what she was going to do and then she got to work. She was very nice and offered me drinks. I had a glass of wine because who doesn’t want wine at 2pm. Her work was soo neat. The foils for my highlights were so in order that I had to compliment her. After all the highlights and toners were applied, she did my cut which I LOVE! It’s exactly what I wanted and asked for. My hair feels so light and healthy and that’s the best feeling. Overall, I had a great experience and will most definitely go back.

The best salon I’ve ever been to! I always go to Adriana and I’m always so happy with the outcome. Everyone here is very friendly and professional.
They also sell some great hair products, which are often even cheaper than on Amazon (at least in my experience).

I went to this salon because my old salon went out of business. Since it was my first time here I didn’t really know what to expect. However from the moment I walked through the door the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. Someone took my coat and I didn’t have to wait at all for the stylist.
Karisa did my hair and she did a great job. It came out looking amazing. She was highly attentive and asked enough questions to get a good sense of what I was looking for my hair to look like.
I would definitely go back and would highly recommend. Plus, they serve mimosas and that’s just amazing.

I just recently moved to Forest Hills from Virginia so I needed to find a new hair salon that I could afford. After reading through tons of reviews, I had narrowed it down to 3 salons and ultimately decided to go to Posh — and I’m so glad that I did. My last haircut (in VA) pretty much came out as everything I said I didn’t want, but this one was so great. I had Karisa and she did a great job. I really think it was one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten in years. She listened to what I wanted and executed it wonderfully. I also have really thick hair and she thinned it out so well while still kept my length! Will definitely be back in the future.

I’m a guy who likes to keep good hair, I think this place was one of the best haircuts I had. Karisa did a great job. The place is clean and neat. They offer you complimentary drinks when you come in. The service is welcoming. I would recommend you guys to try this place out

One bad review and they punish you!!! Spent over $ 200 in the Salon, NEVER AGAIN!!! BE careful of your bill! Check the math!

The staff here is wonderful! Everyone is warm and accommodating; always asking if you want a cappuccino, mimosa, sparkling water, and /​or champagne!
This salon and its staff, definitely reflects Irina ‘s high standards!
From the 1^st time I came to Posh, I received so many compliments on my hair, which was never typical for me.
Irina is an expert with color and hair design. She has me addicted to Posh!
Adrianna is my stylist, she is so talented as well as a really nice genuine person.
Camilla does a great massage when giving me a shampoo, I almost fall asleep!
Aliya does excellent eyebrows! Mine have always been so sparse, it’s amazing I actually have a slight arch, with definition!
I could go on and on as all of the stylist and assistants have been wonderful!

Definitely one of the nicer and «higher-​end» looking hair salons in Queens — it was nice to be offered a glass of wine, especially since I came in right after a long day of work.
I was a little apprehensive about cutting my hair too short so I let my hairstylist know exactly what I wanted — and even showed her a picture so I’d know we were both on the same page. I mean yes, she stayed pretty conservative and didn’t cut off too much, but at the same time, the end result looked nothing like the picture I showed. My hair was still longer than I had wanted and the style that I asked for wasn’t really there at all. Overall, it really felt like I threw my money away, as the total haircut came out to about $ 50 (including tip). Not planning to return.
On the bright side, my hairstylist was super nice, and I got a killer head massage out of it!

I think I finally found my preferred stylists! I had my hair colored by Ashley and I love it! I am very indecisive and tend to make crazy decisions when it comes to my hair. I loved how Ashley gave me her expert opinion and was honest with me. She helped me make a decision to what I wanted to do with my hair and I am beyond satisfied… Thanks Ashley!

This review is for any guy that is simply fed up because his local barber keeps giving him the «John Cena» buzz-​cut. If that’s you, I’d definitely recommend coming to Posh.
The stylists at Posh cut/​style your hair with way more creativity than your random local barber shop– ya know, that place where they basically just flip a rusty buzzer to 1 and start hacking away.
I have had my hair cut by 2 different stylists and each of the two cuts were primo. Highly suggest coming.

I went to Posh yesterday for the first time, after reading great reviews on this site. I feel bad leaving this mediocre review as everyone there is so nice, but I do feel I have to share my experience. First — they have amazing customer service. Very kind staff and very generous — I was served a cappuccino!
I made an appointment to get a haircut, as well as a styling for a wedding I had last night. I requested that my hair be blown out and given nice long curls for the wedding. My stylist barely spoke English — we had to use a translator. He clearly understood that I wanted curls as my hair was looking gorgeous as he was styling it — beautiful curling-​iron curls. He put my hair up in a ponytail and curled the hair in the ponytail, then took the scrunchie out so only the bottom of my hair would have curls — exactly what i wanted. However, the style then took a drastic turn. He began turning each curl upside down and teasing it, ruining each curl he made. I was horrified but I kept telling myself this place has great reviews — trust the experts. But then when I realized he planned on leaving my hair like this — a huge frizz ball — I got nervous. I asked him if my hair would go down by 5pm (it was 2pm) because right now it looked huge. it seriously looked like I stuck my finger in an electric socket.
All I wanted was nice long curls for the wedding — and this turned out to be some 70’s era frizz ball with brushed out curls. The cut and blowdry was $ 70 — fine. Then an extra $ 25 for the use of a curling iron — also fine. But to then ruin the beautiful curls the curling iron made? I got home and kept looking in the mirror panicking that my hair looked horrible, and I was debating on whether or not to just wash it and style it myself (which is painful since i just spent 60 for the style). I decided I didn’t have enough time to start from scratch, so I took out my own curling iron and salvaged whatever I could. My hair ended up looking nice, NO THANKS to the stylist though.
Maybe I would go again for a haircut — but certainly never for a style.

I decided to try a new place for a haircut. I was very pleasantly suprised. It’s a beautiful place with creative design. Very friendly staff and amazing hair stylists :)

From the design inside of Posh Hair studio, to the staff and music — posh is unbeatable. Adrianna is amazing. I trust her to cut/​color and style my hair however she pleases because she always does an incredible job!
They serve mimosas (my fav) wine, cappuccinos and snacks! It’s a great benefit if you ask me. Nothing like sipping on some wine will getting pampered!
The owners are also extremely kind and accommodating! I won’t be going to any other hair salons from here forward.

I was visiting from the Bay Area, California. I made a last minute appointment for a wash and blow dry here. Boy did I get lucky!!! I believe Karissa (or something like that) did my hair. She gave me the best scalp massage! She did a perfect job blow drying my hair.
I think it was the best wash and blow dry I have ever had. Whenever I visit next, I will be sure to stop by again!

I got a hair consultation with Ashley before I scheduled an actual appointment to discuss what I really wanted and to give me a quote.
I wanted to do ombré highlight and get a medium haircut. The price is reasonable compared to city prices.
I finally scheduled an appointment with Ashley. I was greeted nicely and they gave me complimentary latte and cappuccino since the hair session took about 8 hours. Their hospitality is on point. I’ve never had my hair done that took that long but the outcome was fantastic. The ambient and décor of the hair studio is amazing. The staff were really friendly. Ashley was very tentative and patient with me. She made sure I was happy about the length of the haircut and the ombré highlights.
I would be coming back for a touch-​up and a haircut in a few months. This will be my new to-​go hair salon! Ashley did a fabulous job! I highly recommend Posh Hair Studio.

Posh hair studio is great. I am rarely one to stay with the same stylist or hair salon in general and I have been going to Adriana for almost 6 months now. She knows what shes doing and she doesn’t try to do what she thinks is best she does what you ask.
They always offer drinks from anything like coffee to wine and they have a little basket with snacks. Its defiantly a hidden gem and I am willing to travel 30 mins by subway to go its for sure worth it!
Lastly the prices cant be beat. Manhattan is over priced here you get a great value for your money!
