Such a pleasant man, takes his time with you and still does the good old fashioned neck shave.

I was looking for a good barber having just moved to Brooklyn and the only shop I found that had good reviews and was reasonably local was Georges. I was greeted on the street by Nissan, who was prompt, speedy, and patient, with my razor clogging fine Irish hair. Everyone else in the shop seemed friendly as well, including Eddie, the manager. I recommend highly

George cut my hair for about fifteen years and was a solid barber. I just stopped in to get a cut after being away for five or so years and he hasn’t missed a beat. He has been in the same spot for twenty years which is pretty hard to do.

Get my hair cut by these two tired Russians, who can barely keep their eye lids open, and who assume I’m Jewish because I have a beard. They always try to engage me, but I don’t really want to talk to them somehow. Just cut my hair please. They are impatient with my sons the last time I went there, but they’re not so horrible I won’t come back there. Last time I was there, the cutters were pulling my hair, they needed to be sharpened. I asked to go to the bathroom, and there’s a bunch of empty back rooms, I don’t know why they don’t try and rent out some of the space, or something with all the other rooms there, it’s kind of weird. Their magazine section is oriented to men, have Maxim and other titillating magazines that objectify women. I go here for the price, which they keep raising and raising. Now it’s $ 10 for a cut. Careful guys, I go her for the price.
