Unique place. Star Trek, country music and western books. The chair are super comfy. I sat here reading a book for 3 hours and only saw one other customer, sort of makes me wonder how they sustain themselves. But I will be back for the comfy chairs and above average coffee.

Eclipse is by far the coolest locally owned coffee shop in Dayton! Kick ass music, kick ass coffee, kick ass food, and Star Trek always playing on the TV (classic and the TNG timelines) Wes has created a haven among an area that has too many chain shops!

Yellow Springs, OH
Had 3 hours between hockey games at Kettering Recovery and wanted to do a little work. Free wifi that worked with my VPN, enough outlets, nice decaf latte, and a good basic Boars head sandwich. The environment is good: quiet music, several seating areas. The décor is nice and not look over function (read: well thought through including very comfy chairs.)

A new place in an inconvenient shopping center. The place is fairly large and dimly lit. The service was great from a barista some of you might recognize from another coffee place in the area. There’s free wifi and a good number of tables. They also serve sandwiches made from scratch, not the plastic wrapped variety you’d expect. I didn’t have one, so can’t really speak to the quality.
I’d go back, if I were in the area, but there wasn’t anything that would make me go out of my way. Perhaps if there was something really unique about the place, I’d make my way back.

Excellent coffee and treats. Plenty of room to kick back and study. Not a place to try to rush through like Tim Hortons or Stoker. All around clean and cool atmosphere.
