Called Randal with an emergency Sunday afternoon. Our exterior faucet had broke and wouldn’t stop leaking water. He called back in 5 minutes and was here within the hour. I have no pricing comparison, but he was very detailed and took time to explain everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He was upfront with pricing and when I mentioned other small things around the house, like occasional toilet drips and sink clogs, he explained to us how to fix them and we succeeded on the spot.
What speaks the most to his service is that after he left he sent me a product he had found on Amazon, which would save me a trip to a hardware store. That’s good customer service there.
All in all, a reliable, honest plumber that I saved in my phone for any future needs!

We recently moved to the area and found Randall of Jefferson Plumbing after reading his reviews. I concur with everyone else and would add that I was most impressed by his responsiveness to resolve our plumbing issues and ability to articulate the diagnosis in a clear and pleasant way. I’m so happy we found a reliable plumber for the future.

Had some issues with our water softening system that we were unable to resolve. Randall dropped by, made the necessary adjustments, and also provided an informative 15 minute tutorial on how the entire system worked. And «since it didn’t require any materials and I was already in the area on another job», he charged us $ 0 for his work. I know who we’re going to call the next time we need a plumber.

My wife and I are new to the area and new to well water. Randal came out and gave our system a thorough check-​up, tested our water, showed us how to re-​pressurize the pressure tank and answered every question we could think of in great detail. He knows his stuff and obviously enjoys his work. His fees were very reasonable and he was a real pleasure to work with!

Randall has done a bunch of work for us and all of it was very well done. A little over a year ago he replaced all of the polybutylene piping (Qest) in our house. He did a thorough job with little interruption to our lives and we’ve had no problems with the pipes at all since then. He has also installed: all of the plumbing fixtures in our remodeled master bathroom, a faucet in another bathroom, and a new pressure tank and water filter for our well. All of the work has been done impeccably and has stood the test of time. In addition to the caliber of his work, Randall is just a very nice guy who was trustworthy & polite throughout our interactions with him. I’m calling him today to do some additional work in our home (installing 1 faucet, repairing another and checking our plumbing for venting problems) and feel confident he will again do a great job. It’s worth noting that I am a particularly picky customer — an engineer to boot — who is hard to please!

I called them up earlier and Randall was super helpful, and even suggested I try something quick and simple myself before spending money to bring someone out to my apartment, and it turns out he was right — it was a something problem that I’ll be able to take care of myself. Thanks!

Just had Randal out again for an outdoor faucet that burst during the winter but was discovered when my wife went to water the flower boxes.
We called Randal he showed up that afternoon and as usual, took the time to explain what happened to the old one, why it failed, how he fixed it. And was in and out fast. The work remains great, and the bill was more than reasonable.

Randal did a great job replacing the PRV in our house. Quick to arrive and buy parts and do the job. He cleaned up and wrote a detailed invoice and charged just what he quoted. Good value.
