The drive-thru menu could definitely use an update. It was difficult to read since it was so small and weathered. Ordering your food at the window or by calling a telephone number(listed on the menu outside) is something … different. (As is beer offered in a drive-thru!) I could see this being a problem at a busy time of day. However, the food was good and reasonably priced. The wait in the car at the window was made worth it by some DELICIOUS Mozzarella & Pepper Jack Cheese Sticks! I’d love to go back and try more items on the menu!

We just moved to town from 1200 miles away. On June 13 about 6pm we ordered 48 King wings, a order of egg rolls and Armadillo Eggs. Bill was $ 56.xx Girl who waited on me was polite Wings was good lacked a bit as far as the sauces on the Hawaiin Fire. The Armadillo eggs was good but very greasy The egg rolls was between dark brown and light black. We was headed to a party so we just ate the egg rolls. Didn’t taste that bad just WAY over cooked, sauce for them was different but yummy. Over all we will get stuff from them on occasion but its not a BDubs. Prices are a ok not great.

I’m not a big fan of wings, but was dragged here by some friends. I ordered a burger which arrived burnt. I complained to the kitchen and was told, «this is just how we prepare them.» I cannot comment on their wings, because i didn’t try them, but their burgers and customer service leave much to be desired

Went here last night for the Redskins/Cowboys game(Hail to the Redskins!!) Food was ok. Wings were not bad, but one of them didn’t even have any mean… It was just a fried bone. Flavor wasn’t bad, but quality wasn’t great. Best thing about this place is that the beer is pretty cheap. May go back to check out their sandwhiches, but for a place called«Wing King» the wings were just«meh» and not worth the price($ 6.50 for 10 of their smaller«Party Wings») And don’t get the Armadillo Eggs… they sucked

Very expensive for small dry boneless nuggets over a dollar a piece! Ordered 6 peice boneless, it’s was $ 7.00 the blue cheese tasted like mayo with blue cheese sprinkled in and the spicy ranch was ranch with some hot sauce squirted on it. I split my fries with my wife before she got her plate so she wouldn’t be disappointed with her huge to go box with 6 small chunks in it. Pass…

I will NEVER eat at Wing King again. Never having tried Wing King, my wife and I decided to try it on 9÷13÷10. My wife ordered a Philly Cheese steak sandwich and I ordered a Monte Cristo. When my sandwich arrived, I discovered that raspberry sauce had been drizzled all over it. Now, I’m severely allergic to raspberry, and every other place I’ve ever gone to that has served a Monte Cristo has served the raspberry on the side, so I don’t eat it. I took it back to the counter and informed the owners that I could not eat it as served. Normally, in most establishments in Kerrville, this usually isn’t a problem. The food is taken back and prepared the way the customer requests, usually with unnecessary apologies, a standard observed by almost any eating establishment in America. However the misunderstanding in communication about my order is not the issue here. When I told the gentleman at the counter that I was unable to eat it as prepared, I was met with hostility and defensiveness. «You ordered a Monte Cristo, that’s the way it comes. Did you not read the menu? The menu says raspberry dressing and that’s the way I have always made it. That’s what the menu says. Did you not read it?!» I informed him that I thought the raspberry would come on the side, just as every place that I had ever eaten a Monte Cristo had served it. This, apparently, was not a reasonable assumption for him. «Well, that’s the way I make it, just like the menu says. It’s not my fault you didn’t understand the menu.» he replied. «Do you want me to make you something else?» I really didn’t, as I had WANTED the sandwich I had ordered, and now because of his unusual defensiveness I didn’t trust him to serve me food anymore. I requested my money back. «I’m not giving you your money back when I made the sandwich you ordered the right way. I made the sandwich right, you’re not getting your money back.» So notified, I took my food back to my table, resolved at this point not to do business again with these people. $ 8.50 is a small enough price for me to pay to learn such a lesson. And I thought that was the end of the matter. It wasn’t. A few minutes afterward the OTHER owner came out and asked me if I didn’t understand that there was raspberry on the sandwich. I informed him of how I had read the menu, and assumed it was on the side. I also informed him of my severe allergy to raspberry. «Every single place that makes this sandwich serves it this way. I was a manager at Bennigan’s. I know how they make it. I can promise you this is how it’s done.» A fact, even if true,(as has never been the case with me) doesn’t change the fact that I’m still allergic to raspberry, and couldn’t eat it as served. We argued a bit back and forth as to the veracity of his statement, but the truth of the matter was, I couldn’t eat what they served. He grabbed my order in a huff and took it to the back, presumably to redo my order — SOMETHING I DIDNOTASKHIMTODO.(My wife was going to put it in a doggie bag for herself later) At this point I had NO intention of eating ANYTHING these men put before me. My wife then gathered up the remainder of her food and we left. And I thought that was the end of the matter. It wasn’t. As we were getting into out vehicle, he came out and yelled across the parking lot if we wanted the Monte Cristo he was making that I hadn’t asked him to remake. I told him to keep it, and in the future to remember that no one ever won an argument with a customer. He replied, «I just did.». And that was how it ended. I got NO food, and was out the $ 8.50 for it. Now I understand how this looks. I didn’t know the sandwich was going come prepared that way, they didn’t know I was allergic to raspberry, and it was all just a big misunderstanding. Which it was, if it had ended there. But it didn’t. I was basically told that I had ordered the sandwich incorrectly, that the misunderstanding was my fault, and that I would be charged $ 8.50 for the lesson learned. I was castigated as to my lack of knowledge as to how such a sandwich was prepared(which he did in the dining room in full view of other patrons — neither necessary or professional), and the food I did have was taken from me without my request. To top it off, he insisted on bringing this issue to the public’s attention by yelling across a parking lot. In the future I would hope that the owners take some lesson from this experience. The customer might not always be right, but they are always due courtesy. 9÷17÷10 Well, As of writing that review, I thought that was the end of the matter. Again, it wasn’t. It seems the proprietors of Wing King disapprove of my review, for not only have they told«their side of the story», but they CONTINUE to now send harassing emails to me about this matter to my private email address. These gentlemen need to learn to let things go. If anything, this kind of reaction only proves my statements. My attorney has been notified. Caveat Emptor.
