State Aire

I have to take the time to compliment State Aire because as Adam described it– «never seen something like this in 40 years.» Without describing it in gory detail, it was a weird problem and it took three trips out to explain, understand, and the phenomenon, had me replacing a double pole breaker, checking and drying all connections on a buss breaker holder with air, rerouting a drain and wiping out the air handler water pan with years of gunk in it. All this was AFTER Adam described what he thought was happening. (Needed a second set of eyes to verify) Anyway, I think these guys are great because I’m not a typical consumer. We had a great back and forth to discuss a fix, vs guess a fix. I had my own ammeter, measured current at the breaker while they, measured at the air handler, disconnected heat strips, isolated potential shorts at the 220v and 24v sources, and knew we were okay in areas. Furthermore, I intend to have these guys replace my unit in the near future.

Short notice request for a pre-​purchase inspection. I gave them 5 stars because:
1. They answer their phone.
2. They showed up as promised.
3. Straight-​forward, plain english results I could understand.
4. Very knowledgable.
5. Very reasonable price.
So I will use them to maintain the system if we end up closing on the home.
