Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse of Kerrville

Lowes is a big box store so separating the individual store from the corporate entity is important. All in all, I find I tend to prefer purchasing from Lowes as opposed to the other major purveyors of appliances etc. in our suburban community. I used Lowes for door order and installation — they do indeed honor a year warranty on installation performance. Tend to order my major appliances from them — bad experiences with the quality decline in once dependable «bored service men» lines is not the store’s fault nor is difficulty of accessing appliance repair under warranty (2 week plus wait for initial visit — really!) — and have a new refrigerator coming this week from Lowes thanks to generous children. My floor was tiled with Lowes-​acquired product, my kitchen backsplash as well. So Lowes, I may prefer online purchases to in store shopping but you are an asset to my community of almost 3 decades.

If I could give less than one star it would still be too generous. Today is the 2^nd instance our delivery didn’t come on the day promised and scheduled, but not until waiting until the dark of night to find out. Some who work there are quite indifferent about doing their job. Whomever Janey is that schedules deliveries should be fired! Epic failure at her job. It also shouldn’t take 3 additional calls to find out a driver is too lazy to show up. Its not like the order and delivery were not prepaid.

Buyer beware! We purchased a gas cooktop & a wall oven on May 24^th & to date the wall oven is still not installed (⁰⁷⁄₀₃). Supposed to be contacted within two days & yesterday was first contact with installer! We will NEVER purchase appliances from Lowes Kerrville again! They also charged us for a permit fee — we live in the county & no permits are required!

Typical Lowes. Pretty big and well stocked for a small town. Staff were helpful when I didn’t know where to find stuff.
