It’s a great facility and they clearly take good care of our dogs, HOWEVER, very expensive. We dropped our 2 dogs off at 4:00 on Monday and picked them up 25 hours later at 5:00 on Tuesday and was charged $ 92. They said it was 2 days and one night. Dropping off during their «allotted» evening drop off hours shouldn’t count as a day. Disappointed because we like everything else except their math.
In all fairness, they did refund $ 46, but said in the future we would be charged for 2 days even though we dropped off in the evening.

This place did a phenomenal job caring for our two dogs while we were at the beach for a week. You can tell that the owners really care about the animals they keep and care about their business. We have one older dog who does not see very well and gets snippy when you mess with his collar and he does not see you, they handled him beautifully. No other place has been successful at keeping him. When I came to pick him up he was off his leash loving on the owner. You can tell they were both well taken care of. We have already scheduled for them to watch them again when we are out of town later this month!

The facility is excellent, but I was not happy that they did not follow the care/​feeding instructions, and my elderly dog was poorly for a few days after his stay

I would highly recommend Willow Run to everyone! I have two small dogs that I asked to be kept together — except when feeding. One is a grazer and one is a gobbler. Dave and Terri understood and were able to separate them. This past trip one of the dogs (a rescue) would not eat or drink. Terri tried everything — including giving her some of their own roast beef dinner. Still nothing. So, Terri mixed up a soupy concoction and fed her with a syringe — 2x’s a day!!! Terri was concerned about dehydration and weight loss because she was such a small dog. This is an example of owners who are aware of what is going on in their kennels. On a very busy Thanksgiving weekend it would have been easy to miss one small dog not eating. Thank you Terri and Dave, it is so nice to travel and to know that my «babies» are being taken care of so well.

The family/​owners were extremely friendly and they really got to know my dogs Luna (a crazy husky) and Fenway (a lovable mutt)…who both appeared very happy to be there! My dogs have stayed at Lucky’s Pet Resort for years, which is perfectly fine, but I prefer the small and intimate atmosphere for my ‘kids’. The location is a a beautiful country setting and I really loved the Sunday pick-​up/​drop– off time. It’s rare to find something as perfect as this!!! :)

These people don’t just take care of your dog while you’re away, they treat them like their own.
When we went to pick her up, our dog was torn between coming home with us and staying to keep on playing!
They have a really nice facility, and live on site to maintain constant care over the animals AND the facility. They know what they’re talking about, they remember each and every person/​dog, and they’re accomodating with changes/​requests. They also charge reasonable prices.
I definitely recommend this to ANYONE looking to board their pups.

I will start off and say that I have worked in a Vet’s office and have worked with the boarding of the animals. I have also moved a lot and have dogs all my life so I have seen tons of kennels. This by far is the best I have ever seen.
The facility is clean, homey, and is filled with positive energy; so important when working with animals that might be worried about being in a new place. The runs for the dogs allow them inside and outside access all day long so they can hang out in the AC or sun bathe. The owners are so dedicated, knowledgeable, profession, and friendly. They know what they are doing and it’s obvious.
Our dog, Daphne, was a rescue from the animal shelter and is two years old. We have only have her since February. We were nervous about boarding her due to her bad experiences. SHE LOVES IT THERE! She is happy when I go to get her but you can tell she had so much fun playing and was VERY well taken care of. It’s also very affordable and reasonable. It’s almost a steal for how well they take care of my pup.
I recommend Willow Run to anyone and everyone. Such a great place.
