As a new home buyer who was new to the area I had a difficult time finding a suitable home in San Fran. Circumstances were not favorable — I am not from SF and didn’t know the city, inventory in my entry-level price range was low, and competition for anything«decent» that was available was very high — not a good combination for a prospective home buyer. Fortunately, Fletcher was my agent. Here is what I got from my dealings with him: He was patient, He was truly an «honest broker», He was consistent with his effort and his demeanor — no matter no many defeats I experienced. He did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. I finally found what I was looking for in my apartment(size, fit & finish, and amenities like quiet, ease of commuting, proximity to green space and outdoor space) and we got it at a fair price with Fletcher’s guidance.

OK first, why am I qualified to review Fletcher? I have done two major transactions with him in the past 4 years, one as a buyer of a home in San Francisco, and one as a seller of a home in Marin. If you are operating in the Bay Area markets, then you know there is no room for error, and every bit counts when dealing in 1m+ markets. To sum it up there are four reasons why Fletcher was ideal for me: — Experience and contacts Prerequisite is they know what they are doing. Too many fly by night agents and brokers have come and gone in the Great Recession. — Dedication to their clients satisfaction Fletcher goes out of his way to listen to what is most important and incorporate that into the buying/selling plan. — Attitude and empathy Buying and selling a home can be a very personal event, dealing with very subjective elements and personal financial components. Fletcher is exceptional at going out of his way to understand your situation and negotiate a win/win deal. He provided calm and reason at critical times throughout the buying and selling process. — Technology In this day in age, technology is essential for effective marketing of properties. Fletcher leverages the latest and greatest to provide maximum value for his clients, be it web based info on listing, to a comprehensive web marketing plan with virtual tours and regular updates to all the key real estate marketing sites.
