We have visited twice for our kids and they did a great job! We cannot decide which pictures… Ever because they are so good.
They are very friendly and easy to deal with during the entire shooting and selection of pictures.
Highly recommend and worth it!

Okay okay portrait studios are extremely cheesy but hey! The pictures came out a lot better, and not as cheesy, than I thought they would! My parents and I came in for graduation photos and family pictures. I was given 3 outfit changes, with and without my parents.
The photographer was fantastic. Very fast, very positive, great vibes to work with. He was very accommodating to our wishes, gave good advice on what he thought would look good. We got lots of variety (background, lighting, poses) within one hour. He made sure we were all happy and comfortable, and that we got what we wanted.
The lady was very nice and patient when dealing with photo packages and pricing a with my mom afterward. They are great great great people!

Our pictures came out beautifully. We used a Living Social voucher and they accepted it with no problem. The photographer we had was very patient when my daughter had a meltdown halfway through our time with him. Will definitely come back to have our pictures taken professionally.

Great selection of photos with a variety of poses and backgrounds (sometimes too much to narrow down!). Photographers were patient with our specific requests but I suggest you just trust their judgement. We’ve been coming for years and they continue to produce the signature «yuen lui» look.
Prices are steep but the sales staff are always good about helping you budget for the best valued pkgs. The prints look a lot better once printed than one the computer. One change that I miss are the nice little paper frames they use to packaged prints in.

My experience was extremely positive from start to finish. I purchased two GroupOns and used one for a professional photo for LinkedIn. I look great! LOL Honestly, I don’t like having photos taken and was worried I’d be miserable during the shoot and end up with a mediocre photo. The young woman who took the photos knew what she was doing. She put me at ease and listened to what I hoped to achieve. They offered different background colors… everything. I was lazy and didn’t submit a review a month ago when I had my shoot… but saw some less than positive reviews and decided I had a responsibility to speak up. They did a great job and earned my five stars. A lucky family will receive my 2^nd GroupOn photo shoot for Christmas!

This location is horrible, dirty sticky toys in the waiting area, cheesy props and generally rude sales people. They have no regard for appointment times and will take people in in front of you even though they arrived after you and it is your appointment time. The photo’s are rushed, the Santa was terrible (costume and demeanor). I would not in any way recommend this studio for anything.

We got family pics with 10 family members (including a 3 months old) done on a Saturday. Curt was awesome. This was a retake because our experience in Tacoma wasn’t all that great. Curt more then made up for it he was awesome and so wonderful with all of our ideas for poses and mixes of people! Certainly will go back and encourage others to request Curt!

We purchased a Groupon for this studio and I have to say, from start to finish our experience has been AMAZING! They were very accomodating upon making the appointment, they sent me two reminders, when we got there they got us into the studio very fast (15 min before our scheduled time), they got our digital proofs ready for us in under 10 minutes and on line by the time I was home! The two things that REALLY stood out to me were 1. our photographer, Curt. He was AMAZING! He noticed every detail– fuzz, hair in the eyes, crooked pendant, crumpled up clothes, etc. He was also great and patient with our kids and the compostion of our group photo was perfect. and 2. They weren’t trying to upsell. The lady sat with us and went over the print and package options and then let us discuss without interrupting us to sell us more prints. I would TOTALLY give them 5 stars for service and quality, but if we didn’t have a Groupon, I think it would have been a bit too pricey. But this was a FABULOUS experience!

We got a great deal on a Yuen Lui family photo package through livingsocial and used it several weeks ago. Our pictures are fantastic! I’ve had my kids’ annual portrait done by them every year but this was our first family shoot. The photographers always know how to get my young kids to smile and it was really hard to pick our favorite out of so many good shots. I liked being able to view the proofs online at home while we were deciding which to order.

We have our son’s pictures done every year during the children’s sale. Very affordable and pictures come out great. The photographers are very nice and they always seem to get great shots! (6 mo, 1, 2, 3, and 4 yrs old — each year, he is smiling for them!) I was a little displeased with them this year though as I showed up for my 9:30am appt only to be told the photographer called in sick and the replacement was on his way from Redmond. I had to wait until 10:45am. Not a lot of places to hang out in Kent so we waited at the studio. I really wish someone from the store could have called me in the morning and warned me about the delay so I didn’t have to rush out of the house. It set my entire day back. Pictures did turn out nice but wasted over an hour of my morning. They offered to discount my package by $ 30 as compensation.
