Back and forth I like it then I’m confused. I would like to see a new owner have a better chain of command with his managers. I think everyone is confused. At least it shows. Don’t just own a golden egg on twin lakes prime real estate, own it! By letting the community know your there and maybe your running specials. Maybe you’ll attract twin lakes residents more so first then we will think of eating here than going to I don’t know say Cleveland. People are going to look at what you offer but if they don’t know, how do they know. Unilocal always attracts the young professional millennial when you post a menu with prices and maybe a small coupon as an incentive.

In case folks are not aware, this establishment is indeed under new ownership. I highly encourage people to give this place a new chance. Dan, the owner that we spoke with, is a very knowledgable wine and food enthusiast. His high end wine knowledge and recommendations far exceed the popular selections he has placed on his wine list. He encourages constructive criticism on the dishes that exit his kitchen. I had the seafood trio which included a seared scallop atop a scallion line cilantro slaw, a lobster tail, and sesame seared tuna. All of which were to die for. I highly recommend the calamari as an appetizer. The smell of passing you is more than enough to tempt you. The $ 810oz. Burger is more than worth the value. An overall sensational experience. The food and wine is top notch. Ask the managing bartender Jordan to mix up whatever you have in mind and I guarantee she will make you happy! This is not the same restaurant in the past. I highly encourage you give it another chance because what Dan has prepared for summer is going to be worth sticking around for!

THISREVIEWISFORTHERESTAURANTNOTTHEGOLFCOURSE. The setting here is just beautiful. It does appear that the new owner has gone to great lengths to make it look very nice which it does. The wait staff is also very good from my impression and took the time to answer questions and get things quickly though the place was not very crowded when we were there. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The meals took a long time to arrive being that there were not that many people there. I had the Walleye sandwich. Two buns of day old or more packaged bread with lettuce, tomato and a small piece of heavily breaded fish. I could not recognize the flavor of the fish. It could have been any type. The sweet potato fries were okay. The other entrees our group had were a couple of BBQ/Bacon burgers both were over cooked(it was not asked how the patrons would like them cooked) and sliders which were the better choice. I will give this place another try just because of the view. I believe the cook staff is young an inexperienced. Perhaps time will help.

This is probably the highest I can rate a 9 hole golf course. 18 holes is meant for 18 different holes not the same 9 twice, but I digress. The course itself is surprisingly nice. It is now the fairways at twin lakes. It was recently(within the last couple of years) bought and made public. The course doesn’t have a ton of teeth in terms of length or hazards but it still has a little bite around the greens. In the summer when it is firm and fast it is almost impossible to stop some shots on the down-slope, even when you are putting. The greens and a couple of the narrow landing areas keep it from being a walk in the park. I do like that there are a couple holes that require a draw or cut off the tee and if you don’t abide could cost you a shot. The club pro/manager/tournament director is a good guy, shows care in the course and its customers. This review is about half as long as usual but so is the course.
