We came here about half an hour before they were closing on a Sunday evening. Totally didn’t mean to, but the owners were kind enough to seat us and let us order anyway. Our party of four ordered green curry, pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and their crispy garlic chicken. First of all, the ladies here are so sweet… I think it’s family owned and operated… But such sweet and welcoming ladies. The green curry was delicious. I mean, really… Everything was. I’m used to paying $ 14-$ 15 per dish and Asian restaurants but their prices were like $ 8-$ 9! High quality food with frugal prices. The pad Thai was exactly what I was craving and the portions on all of these dishes were huge. The crispy garlic chicken were boneless bites(I’m more used to bone in) with fried basil leaves(delish). I’d order everything again minus the crispy garlic chicken(too greasy). Definitely a Thai place worth trying out! I’ll come back again and try some of their other dishes.

I love their food, their prices and their huggggeee portions. The owner is kind and they are lovely folks. The food is just as Thai as it can get and for the prices… the taste is awesome. I tried their sweet sticky rice with Mango along with green curry chicken and both the dishes lived up to my expectations. You can easily ask them to customize orders to your liking. They don’t crib about it and deliver what is requested for. Their interiors are modest with enough sitting for 30 or 40 folks at most. So they aren’t really meant to accommodate huge groups at the same time. The establishment is clean and tidy though. I will definitely go here again. The location is easily accessible with plenty of parking space and that definitely isa bonus.

This place is amazing! I went with a large group, and the staff were extremely friendly and patient. The pad Thai is to die for, and the yellow curry was delicious. Prices wise, they were very reasonable! :) definitely coming back, nice people, nice food, it’s a win-win.

Whoa! Coming here makes a trip to Ikea worthwhile! Probably the best Thai lunch specials in the region. The panang curry was super fresh with lots of yummy basil. Really tender satay that came with a little yummy cucumber salad. So great.

Lunch specials m-f $ 8.25! Ate 6 dishes here and they all were delicious! Been to Thailand a few times so I feel like I’m a Thai food snob. Ordered cashew chicken, prik khing chicken, pad see ew, orange chicken, tod mun(kind of small portion), spring rolls and mango sticky rice. Would definitely come back again. My 13yo son loved the orange chicken. You get Andes chocolates with your bills :)

Ting Tong Thai Café is the best Thai food you’ll find. The food is prepared fresh and with ingredients that you would buy for your own family. Its quite a way from my home but worth the extra effort to get there. Service is great and everyone is smiling and devoted to making sure your visit is everything you’d expect!

As a major«foodie,» and restaurant connoisseur, I am very honest and, real about my reviews. Recently on a trip to Seattle, my friends, and I decided to have lunch here last weekend. I must say, this place was a pleasant surprise! We had ordered a few appetizers to start with, chicken satay, crab rangoon, and pot-stickers. The chicken satay was really tasty. I loved their peanut sauce. The crab rangoon was okay, although, I hoped to have tasted some real crab meat there which, I didn’t. That, was kind of a bummer for me since, I love Seafood. On the other hand, the pot stickers were excellent! The orange chili glaze had the right balance or sweet and, spicy. The veggies inside were still semi-crispy, yet cooked well. To drink, I ordered Thai iced tea which was really good. I liked that it tasted fresher than other Thai places I had visited throughout my life. Now, onto the main course. I decided to order Seafood Pad Thai extra spicy(they have a star rating for their heat levels which is a nice touch.) with extra Seafood. The waitress was kind enough to let me use their spice rack so that I may adjust the heat level to an even spicier zone since, well? I REALLYLIKEITEXTRAEXTRASPICY! The noodles had that classic chew to them which was great. The veggies were crispy, and not overly cooked. The shrimp, mussels, and, clams were cooked to perfection. The best overall flavor experience I could imagine for what I was craving. My experience at this restaurant was good, although, throughout my time having eaten at various Thai restaurants, I can honestly say I have had better. Not saying it’s not worth a try but, if you want the best? This place isn’t all that. If you’re looking for a quick Thai fix for lunch? Then you’re at the right place. The servers need to be a bit more attentive to your needs especially when asked for more napkins as, the sauciness of Thai food tends to get a bit messy.

Ordered take out, Cashew Chicken, the spinach with peanut sauce, can’t remember name, papaya salad, steak salad, sweet sticky rice and mango… each was about $ 9 each, expected large portions, but they are not very big, more like $ 7 size. The peanut sauce was so salty, I couldn’t even eat it, sadly, my favorite too. Anyhow, overall pretty good food, family owned, super friendly, gave us high quality paper plates and stuff. Was really quick, too!

We ordered red curry with beef, pad basil with beef, garlic fish. I don’t eat Thai food often, so don’t know what they should taste. Basil and fish are a bit salty. Basil tastes good.

Been here mostly every time I want Thai food. The food is cheap, service is nice, the food is tasty, like literally bomb. I recommended pad thai and pat sew. Those are the two most delicious thing.

Ting Tong Thai = Best Thai Food in Kent. I’ve come to this place twice now and I have left happy from my belly up to my heart. This little family business is small, quiet and the food is nom nom dot com. The owner is so sweet and always has a smile on! She just makes it known that she loves to feed her customers great food with great service. Zachary and I really enjoy chicken pad thai and green curry with chicken. Ting Tong Thai delivers on both of these dishes. The green curry has insane flavor and the spice is on freaking point. The lowest star you can do is a 2, which is what we like and let me tell you it just gets spicier with each bite, but in just the right way. Its hot enough to keep you on your toes but you just gotta keep going back for more. Its got a great portion of meat and veggies as well. The pad thai is probably the best i have ever had. Just the right amount of heat, peanuts and noodles. It almost addicting. You just keep eating and eating and eating. Both times we have gone in thinking that we would have left overs but nope… before you know it both of those plates are cleared and that belly is full full full. CHECKTHISPLACEOUT if you want some D E L I C I O U S food. The price is right where it should be and I would honestly even pay more if she raised the prices. It is worth every damn penny. This is our spot and I will come here time and time again. It’s clean, delicious, and friendly. The only thing that would make this place even more stellar would be an outdoor patio for those gorgeous summer days we have! Happy Eating!

As someone who consistently orders 3-star dishes at Thai restaurants, I have to say that 3 stars at Ting Tong Thai really kick my butt! Still delicious, but I’ll probably knock the spice level down to 2 next time. I ordered the pad kee mao with tofu and papaya salad. Both dishes had great flavor! The papaya salad was a generous serving with all the right textures. The pad kee mao was perfectly cooked with tender noodles and juicy tofu. The serving size of pad kee mao seemed like less than I usually get at Thai restaurants, and I actually wished there were more noodles.

We wanted to try something different. and that we did. We drove quite a bit of ways to get here. This is a cute little restaurant that serves some flavorful thai cuisine. Prices are reasonable and the food comes out really fast. The only gripe I have is that the food is a bit sweet overall and you really have no idea where the front door is… Other than that, I like the fact that this place isn’t a big chain and is just simple good food.

I LOVEEEEE this place! The staff is just wonderful, and the food is AMAZING! Everything I’ve tried here has been so perfect. So worth the drive from anywhere you are for the best Thai you’ll ever have. whatever they’re doing, I hope they never change.

Not gonna lie, the name caught my attention. To my surprise it had good reviews so I made the decision to give it a try. Even though they used the papyrus font in their logo(most hated font in the design world). To my surprise it was indeed better than I thought. The spice level suits my level more accurately. I can handle spice pretty well. 4 stars had a strong kick to it. 5 stars probably would of been best. Food was pretty good. Probably best you can get in this area. My only complaint was the portion wasn’t the big. The restaurant is small and cozy so not good for big parties if you plan to dine in. However the lady was super nice, she was very welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend if it’s convenient to you if you’re in the area.

Very good Thai food. It is one of my favorite Thai place and that is saying something cause I’m pretty picky with Thai food. We order the trout salad, pad Kee Mao and pineapple fried rice. Everything was delicious. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the seasoning was a little off on the fish dish, but nothing too serious. It was a little on the sour side for my taste. Other than that, everything was good and I would come back.

Unfortunately, don’t know if I came on an off day since my sister was raving about this place. The owner is very pleasant which makes me feel bad for not liking it. First, the Thai tea was made too sweet, I could barely finish a quarter of it. The pad kee mao tasted like bell peppers, no other flavor as distinct. My sister also felt it was a little too sweet in flavor. We got a yellow coconut curry that my sister also felt was a little too sweet, though the spice was good in it. I enjoyed the Papaya salad the most. We did at least let the owner know her Thai tea was too sweet. Probably won’t be coming back with the choices I have around the area.

This cute little Thai place in Kent rounds up to 3.5 stars tonight. I grew up in Kent and I didn’t know that there was a Thai place around 108th street. After finding it on Unilocal,I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to check the place out. It’s in the Safeway plaza and is in it’s own little island. The inside is very clean, and there is seating in the front and the back. The place only has a few tables but there doesn’t seem to be a huge flux of people(though it’s a pretty good place so there should be more!). We were seated right away. The menu is simple divided into appetizer, entrees, noodle dishes, curries, fried rice and desserts/drinks. Rice does not come with any of the dishes so you have to order it on the side if you want rice. The spice level goes from 1 star being mild, 2 stars being medium, 3 stars as very hot and 5 stars as extremely hot. Satay — We started with this as our appetizer and it was grilled chicken marinated in yellow curry and coconut milk. You could really taste the curry in the chicken. There are 5 pieces and they come on bamboo skewers. It comes with peanut sauce and some cucumber salad. I’m not sure how you pair the cucumber salad but we just ate it on the side after each bite. The flavor/seasoning of the chicken was just alright, but the chicken was super tender. The peanut sauce was quite good and did not have an overpowering peanut flavor. The cucumber salad was a refreshing thing to eat since it was less savory and added a nice contrast because of the sour vinegar. Pad kee mao — We got this with chicken at 3 stars. It had a nice kick but I wouldn’t say it was necessarily very hot. I would probably say 3 stars was just«hot.» It was a bit on the oilier side but it did have the good Thai sweet basil flavor to it. It had a good amount of veggies although I’ve seen places add more veggies. Some of the noodles were stuck together so when they were finally pulled apart it would be pure white with no sauce. They could have done a little better pulling apart the noodles. Average amount of chicken throughout and each piece was pretty good. Pineapple fried rice — I think it was a little misleading because we thought the fried rice would be slightly on the sweeter side because of the pineapple. But surprisingly it tasted like yellow curry rice. The yellow curry rice wasn’t bad, but did come off a bit strong since the curry was the only flavor I could taste. We got this at 2 stars and it was barely spicy. We added tofu to ours. The tofu was fried tofu and were pretty thick cut. There were also an average amount of tofu throughout but each piece tasted great. Some of the rice would clump together making sticky clumps of rice which were not that enjoyable. Pad basil — This veggie sauteed dish with basil and garlic was put at 5 stars with beef. I think this was one of the better dishes tonight. It was well seasoned, probably because it was swimming in sauce. The beef was well cooked and each piece of veggie still had a good firm bite to it. It was at the level of «extremely hot» but I felt like it just had a nice kick to it. I think the spice level is tamed down for people who can’t take much spice. Service was awesome. The lady was so kind and patient. She had small chat with us, gave us some advice, checked up on us frequently and our water was always filled. She made sure everything was tasting great. Didn’t take long for our food to come out. The portion sizes here are a bit smaller than what I am normally used to while the price is about the same at about $ 8 – 9. For all the dishes it was around $ 38 without tip. Overall, it’s nice to know that there is a good Thai place in Kent! Will be back if I’m in Kent and am craving Thai food.
