There aren’t many black-​owned businesses in Kent Ohio. This is one of the more successful ones IMO. The shop is clean and friendly. My fifteen year old son gets his hair cut here, and has been very pleased. We’ve tried several different barbers, in Kent and Akron. The Buzz is a place where you won’t be preached to by other patrons or staff, or wait 40 minutes for a chair, or get a cut from dirty scissors or clippers. The barbers here are skilled, they listen to what you want and provide you with professional service. No crooked lineups or razor bumps. Their prices are quite reasonable, especially since they cater to many of the students from KSU.
