Taylor’s Fine Dry Cleaning

Wow. How can you do business when you don’t understand what your customers are saying? Which really just kills your clienteles to people only speak your language. He literally could not even understand when I asked how much do they charge for a dress. So annoyed that I drove over here. I really wish you can get a rating of zero.

This is an excellent cleaners. Everything I’ve taken to them has come back smelling fresh and looking perfectly pressed and new. They do meticulous work. The first time I went there, I thought it was too expensive, but after visiting other cleaners (with better Unilocal ratings), I found that Taylor’s do the best work and their prices are not unreasonable. My house-​mate took her clothes to a less expensive cleaners in the area and they ruined them. Now she brings her clothes to Taylor’s. You get what you pay for.

$ 3.50 to dry clean a dress shirt is a little steep, but when the lady said that it would be an additional $ 2/​shirt because there was some cat hair on them, I walked out. They weren’t coated in hair, they just had a few strands on them. I could’ve taken a lint roller and easily removed what was on there, but I decided to take my business elsewhere.

They are very pricy, My pants were ruined because the asian woman in front did not speak any English. I asked for my pants to be tailored, and she completely ruined them, after I paid. I was very frustrated and upset, and she and another asian man got completely irate with me. Dry cleaning is supposed to be convenient. I suggest you want it done properly, with no damage done to your clothing? Ruuuunnnnn away from this place and go elsewhere! It also smelled very rank in there. The pricing was completely unreasonable as well. There are way too many cleaners in the area than to chose this one and have to try to decode and teach them English.

Speedster was not lying. I just called them just now… First off, $ 1.99 for a shirt is pretty pricey. Second, I ask her how much it was for a three piece suit and I have no idea what she said to me. I think she barely even understood English. So she resorts to saying «I’m sorry, not today» …so i ask «you guys arent going to clean my clothes?» she says «no im sorry, not today. maybe tomorrow» wtf do you mean not today?! Do you not want to make money??? Worst service ever

I called them by phone to get a time frame and price. They guy speaks barely any English. How frustrating!

I am a savvy shopper, so price-​shopped dry cleaners when I moved to the Kent/​Covington area in 2002 and found Taylor’s had the best prices. I’ve been taking my clothes there for years and am constantly pleased with the good service and low prices. Once I strayed and took my clothes somewhere else (closer to my house) for a 99 cent special and the other place ruined some of my clothes! I will never stray from Taylor’s again because they always get my order right and take care of my clothes! It’s worth it to to drive a little out of my way for them. I even bought them a candy dish years ago and drop off candy to refill it every now and then.

First, I’ll say that they are not the least expensive dry cleaner in the world. So, being cautious with the five stars I hand out, I’ll give them a four for cost.
Some might want to go to a 99 cents per shirt cleaners, but the extra $ 1.50 or so per item doesn’t bug me. You pay for what you’re getting here, and it’s worth it to me.
How can dry cleaners be so awesome? I didn’t really know that until I started coming here. I have been taking clothing here for two years. They go way beyond other places.
If something has loose or missing buttons or a small tear, they fix it for you for free. Last week, I dropped off a sweater with glass buttons. Two of them were broken when I dropped it off. I was thinking I’d have it cleaned and pressed and then replace all the buttons and be set to go. They somehow located these very unique glass buttons, replaced the broken ones, and rethreaded the small beads on the neckline of the sweater.
They didn’t charge me for this, or for the dozen other times they’ve done things like that. As far as they’re concerned this is what a dry cleaner does.
They’re also use organic, biodegradable and non-​toxic products. Regular dry cleaning is harmful to the environment and bad for those with sensitive skin. This makes a big difference. You wouldn’t know by the quality that they are using non-​toxic products to clean.
