As a current resident, I cannot wait to move out. The office management is TERRIBLE. Angelina in the office is one of the most rude people I have ever met. I have been yelled at, criticized, and berated multiple times for no reason other than«Angelina wants to yell». Whether it is her refusing to open the office during office hours, ignoring the office phone for hours, or withholding tenants mail(which is a federal offense), this apartment complex feels like it is managed by teenagers. The day that I moved in, I was told to arrive at 10am to get my apartment key. The office was closed that day until 2:30pm. It was a Saturday. Since that occurrence, nothing has gotten better. Often, both Rebbecca and Angelina will take lunch at the same time, for several hours, and have the office closed in the middle of the day. This causes the mailman to not be able to deliver packages on time since our mailboxes are tiny. More often, I will try to go to the office before work, and they will be closed after 9am(which would be the beginning of normal business hours), and if I race home to make it to the office before 5pm, they will be closed still/again(which is still within normal hours of operation). Now I will discuss maintenance. Over the summer, my deck was infested with hornets. I reported at the beginning of the summer. After 45 days and no indication of maintenance coming any time soon(Angelina telling me «I can’t make them go any faster, it’s not my responsibility»), I threatened to place my rent in escrow until they fix the hornet infestation. That same day, maintenance showed up to assess, and the next day it was fixed. Apparently, to get anything done with Angelina, you need to threaten her with legal actions. The worst thing of all is the corporate office, Summerfield Commercial. It would appear that either the corporate manager either doesn’t care, or doesn’t exist. It is actually harder to get a hold of corporate than it is to get a hold of the front office. Days at a time, no one will answer the Royal Firs Corporate line. They also refuse to return voicemails or resolve tenant problems with the apartment managers. It would make sense that they would allow inexperienced/uncaring managers to run their facility. I look forward to my lease ending so I can get out of this terrible situation. If you love being yelled at for going to the office, being refused your own packages, and having your maintenance requests ignored until you threaten with escrow, this place is for you! (Seriously, you don’t want to live here)

I moved out about 9 months ago and lived here for a year. I REGRET moving out ! Rebecca the manager is AMAZING. Seriously she is super chill and cool. The leasing agent«Angelina» well I strongly dislike her. She always always has an attitude about everything. The building I lived in was close to the office so it was really quiet and I never had any issues with others there. When I first moved in, the same person would continue to park in my assigned carport stall. After leaving several notes on the car I talked to Rebecca the manager and told her the issue. She quickly contacted the person and told them they were not allowed to park there anymore… Months later my car was keyed! Turns out it was keyed the day that person moved out! Coincidence?! I think not! I wish I would have known so I could have f***** their faces and car up! Anyways I really loved living at Royal Firs. I would totally move back if the rent wasn’t $ 200 more than what I payed less than a year ago. Rebecca the manager is seriously the best. Hopefully you see this Rebecca!

My family was all set to move into these apartments. We had toured a month before and attempted to put a deposit down, and was told not to worry about the deposit. We thought that was weird, but rolled with it. We tried to call the office several times, but no one answered or returned our calls after leaving message after message. The day before we were to sign the lease, my husband went to the apartment office to ask if he could tour the actual apartment we were to move into(it was being renovated before, so we couldn’t see it). He was informed that the apartment we were going to move into was rented to another person, and they didn’t have another apartment to move us into. My family was going to be homeless if we didn’t find another place to live. Because my husband was upset, I felt like I wasn’t getting the whole story, so I tried to call the apartment manager to hear it from them. After admonishing me for calling right after my husband left, she hung up on me. If you’re looking for a place to live, DONOTLOOKHERE!

This is not the place for you if you dont havr kids or just don’t like kids. Their running around hitting people’s windows and doors. Throwing trash everywhere and it makes this place look worst than it is. I seriously can’t wait till my lease is up.

I would like to thank Angelina and Rebecca for how kind they have been to me. Angelina is polite every time I come by, if she’s with someone else she always gets right back to me. My apartment is great all new appliances, new carpet and it’s in a building with great neighbors. Angelina helped me a lot and I want to thank her. I’ve seen the police in the complex but since they’re not there for me I mind my own business, I see children running around but since there not mine I tend to my own business. I like the way that the Royal Firs are trying to clean up the complex one tenant at a time, I say in my lane and when I have a problem the staff Angelina does not have a problem helping me. Thank you Royal Firs Staff.
