We will NEVER purchase Ricardo Beverly Hill luggage again! They have the worst customer service ever. Sharon should not be working for this company. We purchased 4 — 28″ pieces since there are 4 of us in the family. Three of the bags are fine. However, one of the pieces had a zipper tear loose from the bag due to a random string from the stitching that got caught in the zipper. I filled out the warranty information on their web site and was directed to take the piece to a place in Wisconsin(over 100 miles from my home). We drove it up there, and received a call the next business day saying that it would cost $ 38 plus tax to fix it because it wasn’t covered under warranty because the damage was caused by over packing the bag. What?! This bag was never over packed. I then asked if I could be put in touch directly with Ricardo Beverly Hills. That’s when I received a call from Sharon. She seemed somewhat helpful when she first called and said that she would talk to a manager about my situation and possibly would have the bag sent from the repair place directly to them. However, 2 weeks later I received a call from Sharon asking me what I wanted the repair shop to do with my bag. When I reminded her that she was going to talk to her manager, she said it wasn’t repairable and that their warranty is limited and they don’t cover moving parts(of which zippers are a moving part). It appears she never talked to a manager and had no intention of doing so. I am now out over $ 100 for a bag that was only used a couple of times unless I want to pay for a repair on a piece of luggage that had defective stitching. 10÷28÷15 — Update. Roger from Ricardo Beverly Hills contacted me and had someone else from the company reach out to me. I was asked to provide a copy of the repair receipt to them in order to receive reimbursement for my repair. I have received the check and am happy to say that it covered the cost of the repair. Thank you.

Really, Beverly Hills is in California, but they moved to Kent, Washington? OK, so the handle failed on my wife’s roll-aboard suitcase. She liked it so I tried to find a way to fix it. No way. First they say they stand behind their product but you cannot buy or order or replace bad parts. You also have a hard time finding any repair business that can get parts easily. I asked my local store that Ricardo referred me to last November to repair the suitcase. Ricardo sent them the wrong part and then didn’t respond to any requests from the Repair shop. I bought the bag online from and even though it was in 2012, their response to the Repair shop was that it was a 2009 model… what does that mean. Either say we don’t have the part and here’s a new bag or Go away and buy from someone who stands behind the quality of their product. Funny, my wife doesn’t even travel much so we maybe got 15 – 20 uses out of the bag. Don’t buy Ricardo!
