They do have a great selection of teaching supplies, Scouting supplies and toys for kids, but they don’t have the best prices. They have a «no refunds» policy, meaning even if you pay with cash, you don’t get cash back if you return something, you get a gift certificate. I had to return Scouting pants that did not fit properly and I was not told about their return policy when I checked out, and I spent $ 150! I would have appreciated the heads up so I could have had my son try them on first. Apparently they just want people’s money, very sad.

My first time in here and I really enjoyed the experience. They have a lot of items for the Grandkids that is challenging — science kits etc. We were helped and not only pointed to the right direction. we were taken and the lady stayed to help us find what we wanted. The place is crowded with product — which is great. They also have a Boy and Girl scout section.

Kent Teaching and Toys used to go by a different name but they are still amazing. Everything about this store shows a thoughtfulness and consideration for their customers. From the high quality toys that have educational features and are(mostly) non-electronic, to the variety of books, to the huge supply of teacher stuff, this place has it all. Looking for a unique gift for a kid’s birthday? Go here. Looking for teaching supplies? Ditto. Looking for a new place to visit with the kids? Same answer. There are a ton of puzzles for all ages, the fantastic educational toys mentioned earlier, tons and tons of workbooks, charts, games and classroom supplies, and more. I love the train table where my kids can play while I roam the store trying not to spend too much. Another train note — you can purchase single wooden train track pieces here in order to make your own custom collection. Awesome. The only drawback is the pricing which at times is steep. But(and this is a huge caveat), it’s worth it to get a unique toy/book/gift that is on the educational side. I will continue to come back for my kids and my friends’ kids, and also for myself. Perfection!

I absolutely love having this store«in my backyard» so to speak. What a fantastic place to ensure your kids are motivated, they have charts galore! Decorations not only for the classroom but for home and office! I am here monthly either for my step-daughters school projects or for upcoming events at the office. I absolutely love this place and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for ensuring that the general public can enjoy all that you have to offer with reasonable prices and smiles!

My favorite local toy store. If your like me a loath Toys r us and the limited selection of mind expanding/imagination based toys that aren’t gender specific or based on a tv show or movie then this place is for you. The staff is very friendly and they have a train table my son begs me to take him to the store just so he can play. I love everything from paper dolls to glow in the dark stars for your ceiling. Just a short walk from the Kent library and water fountain sprinkler in the summer. Great kid date

We usually head to Target for birthday presents, but today I noticed a lot of interesting toys that I’ve ignored in the past in my hunt for posters, girl scout accessories or desk reference items. I will head here first for our gifts. I like fun and creative gifts for kids and I saw several things that caught my eye. New owners, but same staff and products.

What a fun store with lots of educational toys and books and creative, fun stuff for kids(and kids at heart). They have a bunch of things for teachers in classrooms. Boy/Girl Scout accessories. Entertaining to peruse if anything. Friendly staff.
