I bought a 65″ Samsung from here. I was nervous purchasing a «out of box» TV. So far– so good! The TV doesn’t have any visible defects and seems to be functioning just like a brand new TV from any big box retailer. The sales person, Nick seemed honest, and confident in his product. If you don’t hear from me again– you can assume my experience is a 5 star experience from service to quality.

I was almost set on buying a 55″ LG from Walmart for about $ 1k out the door. My wife however searched Craigslist for any 55″ LG’s and saw their ad(It was posted in the non dealer section but was pretty obvious it was a dealer). We called and verified they were a store and went to check out what they had. It is a very small store but is jam packed full of nice TV”s. They had the TV I was looking at but it was an even newer model for less than the Walmart TV. The only difference between this place and other TV stores is their prices and that most if not all of the TV’s are open-box or used/returns. When I got home I checked and my TV had just under 200 hours on it. I wasn’t worried because they seem to have been in business for some time and they offer a 15 day return period(minus restock fee if nothing is wrong). The lady who helped my family(Terri) was very helpful and I highly recommend going in and seeing what they have to offer. I am not sure how much their stock changes but every TV I saw seemed to be a great price. I could not be happier with the deal I got.

These guys posted some deals on Craigslist. I contacted them several times with questions, but they don’t get back to people.

I had an issue with my little Samsung that I bought from them only to get the replacment doing the same thing. I tracked it down to an issue on my end and they said“hey it happens” and told me to keep the replacement and that they will discount the other one to someone else. Also my customer’s who do installs buy all their TV’ s from these guys. That should telly ou something in itself.

I just bought an HDTV from this store last week. It is a Panasonic 32″. I did a lot of research before I chose this store. What I liked most was their Craigslist ad. There was a picture of the TV, and the model number, so that I could look up reviews and compare prices. I narrowed it down to a Panasonic or a Samsung, which they carry both. At the store, Brian(if I remember correctly) was very helpful. He was very honest with me about the differences that resolution makes with different screen sizes, knowing that I wanted to spend less. He even steered me towards the less expensive Panasonic. I was very happy with his attitude and his knowledge of the products he carried. This is a side note: I’m tired of going to Best Buy and not knowing who knows what. They should have different uniforms for the different geeks. Then I wouldn’t spend five minutes talking to a cel phone expert about component cables. I digress. The point of this review is to say that Brian(?) and his very quiet partner at HDTV Depot in Kent know their stuff, and won’t try to oversell you.

I know it looks like a shady, hole-in-the-wall type place, but honestly these guys were very good. We were looking to replace our tv with something HD for a fair price and found a posting of theirs on Craigslist. Their stores are really not flashy, but kept clean, and they do carry quality products. We got a BRANDNEW, 46″ HDLCDTV for under $ 900, with them. It was an out of the box special, yet the TV still had all the factory plastic shrink wrap, original packaging, and accessories(in fact the plastic pouch the remote & manual were in was still even sealed). Communication with them was very easy, and everyone was very friendly(even before we had committed to buying). Walk in their store and look closely, and you’ll see that everything they carry really is in good shape. There website isn’t very detailed, but if you know what you’re looking for, call them and they can most likely hook it up. Not trying to gush, but just feel it’s right to promote a local business that is doing good, honest work. If you’re looking for home entertainment equipment, check them out. You’ll probably be pleasantly surprised.
