Great little place to just hang out and enjoy some beers! I found it on Unilocal,I was on a business trip in Kent, WA and really didn’t know what to expect. The place has a nice patio are and inside is very casual and nothing fancy but it t has a nice comfortable feeling. The staff is vey friendly and welcoming and they all seemed very knowledgeable about the beers being served. There own beers as well as guest breweries beers. The food is very good and prices are reasonable. It’s not a bar to watch sports but it’s a great place to hangout sit back and enjoy the brews…

Beer and food both good. The service not so much. Wife enjoyed an IPA and asked what gave it a(whatever she said taste) and server said«the hops». and poof was gone. OK, fine, but yeah we’ve been to hundreds of breweries and like to learn a little more. After about 3 more rounds, I tasted an IPA and liked it and asked the same guy if it was citra hops. He said it tastes citrusy. Next time around someone asked for a recommendation based on what they already had that they liked and the guy just stared non-smiling and waited. Hey, I have an idea, how about our check… Craft brewery is more than just selling the beer.

A standout gem in what I can only assume is an older part of downtown Kent. Airways has a sweet patio, a fantastic beer list, and a delicious menu filled with pizzas and sandwiches. Definitely an awesome spot to catch some rays and drink some tasty beverages.

Decided to try a new place and was very pleased! Started with a soft pretzel with mustard and then the caprese panini with mixed greens salad. The pretzel was the best I’ve had pretty much ever and the mustard for dipping was great as well. The panini was fantastic as well, perfectly grilled with a very tasty balsamic, plenty of mozzarella, tomato and basil! Service was very fast and friendly. I’ll definitely be back.

Definitely really great small local brewery in Kent. I had the Skyhag IPA, the hops really stands out, paired with the cheesy bread with pizza sauce makes it a perfect pair. Would have posted a picture of the cheese bread but it was too good to wait and snap a picture. Friendly bartender, returning locals seem to like the chill relaxed vibe there. Definitely will come back again!

Good beer, and food is mostly good, too, so I feel bad giving two stars. Sitting at the bar, you overhear the servers/bartenders and kitchen staff talking about the customers. Not just one or two bad customers it seemed, either, but consistently throughout the day. It seems to be a really negative environment. I’ve also seen the male bartender short change a couple of different patrons on two separate occasions, and it seems he does so in a passive aggressive manner. Just. weird.

Lets talk local brew and bistro. We came across this place a few weeks ago and we have been back about 3 times! Its small and loud, but it is an amazing spot. This location has limited brews on draft(about 4 of theirs) and also other local choices. You can also fill growlers here, but only the ones with an asterisk next to them. Our first visit was for beer only and a growler fill, we were unaware of the asterisk rule at that time… so naturally I fell in love with one of their brews but was unable to fill it for they only hold pony kegs there. Luckily our server was AMAZING and let me fill this one time for the beer choice was her recommendation. We bought 2 new growlers and filled them both to show our appreciation, I mean come on, we were going to drink them anyway. It was loud, and did not have a lot of seating open but we knew we would be back for the great beer and amazing service. Visit 2 was not so successful for brews. We stopped in after work to have a quick brew, and to our luck there were two seats open at the bar! YAY! We sit, and look at the beer menu and give our favorite girl a big thank you for making our last experience so amazing. The two beers we loved so much just 4 days ago were gone! No biggie, lets try the local red! It was good, but not our fav but we still left pleased with our small beers and knew we would be back again. Visit 3. Ugh. We stopped in with my fiancé’s father for a quick drink on a Sunday after running errands. Finally! A slow day! We all sit at the bar and were watching the basketball game and looking over the menu, still no favorite beers on the board. We are now 0 – 2 within less than 2 weeks. Our bartender was not welcoming and seemed annoyed that we didn’t know what we wanted right off the bat. We then mention that we were missing their Signature beer yet again! He replies with«well you must not come in here often». Very unfriendly, but hey, we get it maybe we seemed new. We just moved on and ordered new beers to try as well as one of their flat bread pizzas to share! Food was on point, beer was good, service was okay. I have to say my father in law was not very impressed, but we thought maybe we just caught them on an off day. So yes, we would be back. Most recent visit was after work on a busy day. All 3 of us wanted a beer so we stopped in. Found a spot at the bar and ordered our beers. THEYWEREFINALLYBACK! We had the same bartender, and he seemed a little better, still not super friendly but hey, that could just be his demeanor! Our other girl was there thank goodness and recognized us off the bat! Great beer was had that night, and we also shared some laughs. This is a great place to stop in for a quick beer and a bite! I don’t recommend big groups here for it is snug and loud. We’ve only eaten once but the food always looks GREAT! The service may be hit or miss, but I just think thats the vibe. We go in knowing that and we are just fine. I cannot wait for it to warm up a bit so we can try out the outdoor patio! That would be the place for big groups. Check this spot out for some great craft beer and yummy bites! Growler prices are also great! Cheers and Happy Eating!

I came here for lunch around noon not knowing anything about what this place served or looked like. When I arrived I was surprised to see how clean and hipster looking the inside was. You have to be 21+ to enter. They change their beers/ciders/wines daily, so you have a variety to choose from! For beers and ciders, they offer 8oz and 16oz sizes for around $ 3-$ 6 respectively. I ordered a 16oz Atlas, which is basically a blackberry hard cider. It was really good and would recommend it if you get the chance to see it on their drinks menu again. As for food, they offer snacks, salads, paninis, other sandwiches and pizzas. From 11am-4pm, they have an $ 8 lunch pizza special where you get 4 slices from a 7 in. pizza with a side salad or chips. I ordered the chicken bacon artichoke pizza with chips and my boyfriend ordered the chicken pesto one with a side salad. You can also choose from a variety of dressings for your salad. The quality is really nice but portions aren’t that large. Though, with a drink it might even fill you up – it did for me! Overall the atmosphere here is really chill, clean, and casual. Would recommend coming here if you’re in the area for a quick drink and a nice lunch!

Nice place near Kent station. It was a Saturday night so pretty busy but we sat outside. Easy to accommodate a group of 6 on the large patio. Small parking lot out front. They have lots of beer flavors and tastings. The menu is sandwiches, soup, and flatbread pizzas. Grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. Came with a nice field green salad. The soft pretzel and beer cheese was too.

We came on a windy Sunday evening around 6:30. We found plenty of street parking as well as parking in the small lot in front of the bistro. We were greeted immediately upon entering by Keyna our Cicerone/Server. We decided since it was rather quiet to sit with her at the rail. She poured a couple samples that I had questions about while we looked through the menu. I decided on a pint of Ridgetop Red by Silver City Brewing which was very smooth with a slight sweet caramel flavor and nice finish. We ordered the pretzel & beer cheese $ 6 to snack on while we decided on dinner. We chose the Chicken, Bacon & Artichoke flatbread pizza $ 15 to share along with a field green salad. The food was very very tasty! We especially enjoyed our conversations with Keyna… Mathew the chef came out and talked with us a bit and our evening was very relaxing… We look forward to better weather and enjoying the outdoor seating.

I have come here on and off for years since they opened. Finally writing a review for them. This is a small and cute bistro that showcases their own brewed beer as well as a list of other delicious local microbrews. Wine and Cider is also served for those not in the mood for beer. This is a great place to meet after work during the week. It does get busy on Friday and weekend evenings. The ambiance is casual and they have a bar and very small dining area. However they have a large outdoor patio, which would be perfect for those warm summer months(which probably is only several weeks in this area). *grin* You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. They have high quality menu items that are all locally sourced. Their chef is awesome! I have found all the varying dishes I’ve had were consistently delicious! Their flatbread pizzas are excellent. very flavorful! Their paninis are also perfectly made. They have a nice menu of small bites aka appetizers. Their cheese bread and pretzels with beer cheese are quick and delicious items that are a great accompaniment to the beer. Keep an eye on the chalkboard as you walk in. It lists their current specials of the day as well as a long list of beers on tap. They do sell and fill growlers here. The service has always been amazing and the staff are always friendly and quite outgoing. All the times I’ve been here throughout the years, I have never had a bad or even mediocre experience.

Great atmosphere, outstanding service, superior pub grub, good beer and an awesome brew. Love this place!!! Airways you rock!!! Kelly is a gracious accommodating host! I had the special which was a grilled cheese panini with cheese and black truffle oil drizzle. Started with a beer cheese pretzel dip and my friend had the caprese panini with a salad which was also good. Had the Winter Lager and the 10 below it was all righteous!!!

This place is GREAT! I wish I had come hungry because their kitchen is right next to the bar and the whole place smelled AMAZING. the food also looked very, very good. They do not do sampler flights(for all you WABL members) but are happy to give out small samples before you decide on a pint. Friendly service, good prices, great beer.

Thank you Unilocal! This is the reason than you exist. Helping people find places like this. I really wouldn’t have ever come in here, since I don’t drink. But a friend and I were looking for good pizza, and Unilocal patrons, you did not disappoint. The pizzas are gourmet, but not so fancy they’re weird. I’m a very finicky eater, so that’s important haha We started out with the pretzel and beer cheese, the pretzel had a nice crust, and was so soft in the middle. Oh man, I had never had a pretzel that good before! And then I got the chicken pesto ranch. Pesto ranch? That sounded a little off to me, because again, I am a picky eater. But, low and behold, BAM! DELICIOUS! You can see from my photos, that I killed that pizza. I love the lunch special. It’s unfortunate that I work such a lame shift(my lunch is at 7:30AM) because I would eat this for lunch every day. PS — found this place and ate here twice in a week. Yeah, that’s how I roll.

First time in here, and I live close by. The place itself is interesting and the building has a lot of character. They don’t have a ton of food options, but they do have some good options. We had two pizzas something with all kinds of meat on it, the«Carnie» I think and the other was Chicken Pesto Tomato something. The server brought us the wrong food, but quickly made up for it by leaving the wrong food for us to eat, and not charging us for it. Thats awesome, and the pizza was too. Once we got our food it was very good, cant complain at all. I would definitely recommend the Carnie. I had the Sky Hag IPA, it was good, not super hoppy or bitter though. My girlfriend had the amber, and while it was good, it didn’t really taste like anything. They are a brewery though, and each beer does have character. Its rare to like everything a brewery puts out. We’ll likely be back due to location and service. Seems like a regulars type of place and people will either like it or not.

Where to start. Had a work function here… and it did not disappoint. I cannot speak on the quality of the brew(cuz I don’t drink) so this review is based on atmosphere and food. I understand that pizza is easy. Everyone can do it… yadda yadda yadda… We went with the following Garlic Bread, Pretzels and Flatbreads. The garlic bread was good, I mean it was cheesy and garlicky, but was over matched by the pretzels. I personally do not like pretzels, they are meant to drink with, which is not my thing. BUT… the pretzels were darned tasty, not dry, not salty, hot and really, really good. But this was beaten hands down by the flatbread/pizza. Now be warned, I am a thin crust guy, so this was right down my alley. Greasy(I got pepperoni — actually margherita with pepperoni), tomatoey, flat and cheesy. OMG This pizza was good. Now to the atmosphere — the place is small inside, but they have some limited seating outside, which is where we parked — Note: nice touch with the hops growing outside… made for interesting conversation. Dear reader, here is the part that you will prolly NEVER see… we overheard the BEST conversation while we dined — one actual quote«…when I check out… it will be in Laos… on heroin!» Thigh slapping stuff… Good food, good seats, GREAT people watching(and good beer from the beer drinkers in the group), I would say try this out.

This was a delightful experience! Everything from the server to the food to the restaurant ambiance was just above and beyond; such a fantastic balance of it all. We enjoyed two pizzas and a couple of beverages. The«special» of the day was a pepperoni and pepper with their house-made marinara. The other was the chicken, bacon, and artichoke. Both were so tasty! My friend enjoyed a couple of beers, and I enjoyed an iced tea. It was just splendid. If you want to avoid the chain restaurants scattered throughout Kent Station, this is a wonderful, delicious choice! Highly recommended!

This is my go-to spot for lunch when i’m at work. It’s a smaller little bistro that’s kinda tucked away. If you don’t know it’s there, you’ll miss it! Let’s talk about the service first — it’s wonderful. The chef’s there are amazing & friendly. The servers are the same way. I’ve never had a terrible experience or walked away feeling like it was«sub-par» as far as customer service wise. They know my drink by heart & they know my usual(i’ll get to that in a second). The servers & chef’s all come to make conversation while you’re waiting for your food or eating your meal, ask how the food tastes & just make you feel right at home. The food, oh man! The BLT is my absolute favorite. I get it 99% of the time I go. It’s unlike any other BLT i’ve had. I’m not sure if it’s the vinaigrette they put on it, or the fresh baguette it’s on… but whatever they do… you’ll fall in love immediately. Their pizza’s are delicious as well, i’ve had a couple different but their cheese(i know it seems pretty lame, but seriously, try it!) is SO good! Honestly, can’t go wrong with stopping in here. Whether it be for lunch, or for dinner, they’ve got great beer on tap(that they brew themselves!) & yummy food!

I love how this place is so quaint and homey, clean and sophisticated. The prices were amazingly low. I arrived during lunch prices too which made the meals very affordable as well! Salad and personal pizza for $ 8?! yeah! The beers are amazingly cheap for what they are and they are well described and listed at the doorway. The service here is amazing, personal, friendly, and super pretty and cute! ;) I felt right at home, right away! The food was yummy and the salads were all zesty. I really enjoyed my visit here. Great on my wallet, great beer selections, fun foods, great service, and a great little place. Thanks!
