Kensington Television Service

Unbelievable.
I happened to noticed their vintage equipment when I was window shopping over the holidays. Since they were closed, I thought I would come back to check it out.
Bad mistake.
When I came to the door I noticed the owner was talking to a customer (the only one in the place), so I was prepared to wait and thought he’d at least say something like «I’ll be with you in a minute.» But get this, he looks at me at the tells the customer, «don’t worry about him.»
Again, unbelievable. You know I was considering inquiring about fixing my stereo system, but with how ridiculously rude this owner was, you know that wasn’t happening. Stay away from this awful, crusty place!
To the owner: I hope you enjoyed receiving this rating downgrade, old man.

Kensington Television Service is a wonderful place to find a special vintage radio or television or jukebox or to get an older model serviced.
Doug is a very friendly & knowledgeable guy and a wizard with vintage electronics. He got my late-‘50s Predicta television working like new (which is no small feat if you know anything about old television sets!)
