HuHot Mongolian Grill

Great food and service! Defiantly a must try :)

Love this chain restaurant. So happy to come and always sad there isn’t one closer to Milwaukee Brookfield or Waukesha.

This place was good and clean. The customer service was accommodating and the people who worked at the restaurant were friendly and accommodating.

Great food, you cannot go wrong, make sure you check the example dishes posted above the place where you pick oil and sause.

I have never been to a restaurant quite like Hu Hot before — one that is buffet style and also fresh! The cooks are very talented and must get a work-​out with the constant line of people coming up to their grill. The food selection and marinades are great and I usually only make it through the line twice because you get so much food. I have never ordered off of their actual menu so I can’t speak to that. But the buffet is definitely the main attraction!

This visit and one other have represented a decline in this location’s training and cleanliness. Earlier visits were entertaining and ideal, with fast handed grillers and a constantly being cleaned environment.
The last 2 visits were less clean, with no active cleaning underway and less trained grillers. Food was lightly co-​mingled with neighbors, spatulas weren’t wiped between stirs, and grillers just weren’t as proficient. (And the last time I went, my food was undercooked, bit of a cardinal sin in my view – broccoli raw, onions still stiff) They had, however, become adept at skating across the greasy mats on the floor, a skill I had not observed earlier. Overall service was good, servers were pleasant and available, even the grillers were pleasant. I just couldn’t stand to see the full reservoirs in the catch tray around the grill. Too few spatulas were in use, and I didn’t like sharing meat juice with my neighboring patrons. I won’t avoid this place permanently, but will make a review of the strength of my constitution before I go.

Today I came to HuHot for the first time and to say I was extremely disappointed would be an understatement. To start, there were soooo many dirty tables around us. The bowls to put food in were dirty, the man re-​stocking the food put fresh food on top of the old (which I’m pretty positive is a health code violation), the sauce station looked like it had never been wiped down before, the bathroom (including the bathroom door was disgusting), the grill looked like it only got cleaned once a day, our server was super slow and an air head, and to top it off the rim to the soy sauce container was crusty. We will NEVER be coming back to this restaurant.

Not worth the money. The only good thing is kids eat free. Food was ehhh… the rice was dry and the shaved meat was like eating paper.

This had to be one of my worst experience at a restaurant in my life I have never seen worst service in my life. Maybe if the mangers would stop timing the cooks and look at the servers. But 2 ½ hours it took almost 45 min just to get a check. I just about walked out. I almost feel bad for the greeter she was bussing tables and the only person with hustle. My feeling is the servers have had no training. And no manger over site at all. Find new staff including your management or this restaurant will be closing soon

Gross!!! So dirty! I couldn’t get thru eating my food. Who is managing this place? How do the employees work there? It’s making me sick just writing this.

I’ve been to a few different Mongolian grills and HuHot by far has the best selection of food. They have a nice variety of meats, noodles, vegetables, and sauces. I love the big selection and if you make a really good combination it’s delicious.

Although I’ve enjoyed the food there, my son and I saw a roach by our table in the dining room, we called the manager over and showed him. He apologized and was very embarrassed but that was it…

The food was delicious! You had a lot to choose from to create a big bowl. Made the spicy Kung Pao with chicken and pad Thai noodles. The only thing I would have liked from our waiter is for him to tell us that there were recipe cards and soup or salad that comes along with the meal. We overheard another waitress telling the table about about it. That’s the only way we found out.

Brought business associates to lunch and to be honest it was nothing special. The Mongolian Grills in Milwaukee have a greater Varity and I believe are fresher and of better quality. One and done, as I would not go back. Why should I there are a number of really good places to eat in Kenosha… this just isn’t one of them.

This place is HORRIBLE!!!
The staff didn’t even greet us. No hello. No welcome. No nothing. (A girl with tattoos was hosting) The place was dead and it took 5 minutes to get seated. Once seated the booth was ripped like a dog attacked it. The floors were dirty and walls were smeared everything was in terrible shape. Food stations were all dirty. No one cared what was going on there. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Make your own creations. It’s ok nothing special. If your watching what your eating this isn’t a bad option since you can add your greens and meats and control how much sauce you put on it.

Floors are slippery from sauce, carpets are filthy not clean. Probably will never come back

I am a fan of Hu Hots, I am. Having moved from an area where there was one 3 miles from my house, I occasionally still crave them, and was very hungry for some Hu Hot one afternoon. I convinced my wife to make the 40 mile drive to Kenosha, and was super excited to get my Mongolian BBQ on.
We walked in to a restaurant that was half full. Score! I walked up to the host stand, and was told the wait was 25 – 30 minutes. What?! Half the tables were empty!
We waited, and were seated 30 minutes later. As we were being seated the hostess mentioned off-​hand that the line for the grill is currently averaging 25 minutes. Unreal…
Our waitress was completely distracted… despite assuring her we did not need rice we received multiple bowls. She forgot my soda several times, and seemed to be able to do nothing but apologize.
The food itself was good, but not worth waiting over an hour for. Additionally, the restaurant itself was disgusting. There were open mop buckets hanging out in common areas. Many of the food options were out, and the food area had veggies and sauces all over the floor.
We’ve had really good experiences at Hu Hot before, but we will not be going back to Kenosha.

I came here with my girlfriend and we both disgusted by the cleanliness of the restaurant. Along with the precautions they take for allergies are very minimal. We will not be returning.

I like this place. Food is good & you control your own flavor destiny.
The service has always been mediocre whenever I’ve gone. Guys behind the grill were good, but the waiters/​waitresses have always seemed disconnected. Forgetful & blah. It doesn’t seem to hard to grab some rice, tortilla shells & drinks, but what do I know? Never been a waiter…
I always 2 bowl it whenever I go!
