Tri-City Judo has a friendly atmosphere but they have some misnomers on their facebook page. For example«We offer judo for competitive and non competitive individuals who want to learn the most practiced sport and martial art in the world.» This is not true. Judo is very popular but it is NOT the most practiced sport and martial art in the world. Its not even close. They also say«.Whether it is for comepetition, self defense, self improvement or physical fitness, you can get what you want out of what we offer.» I would say they focus almost fully on the competition aspect of the arts. Which they are very good at and if you want to win medals, trophies or an event in a ring of some kind. As far as practical self defense goes they are lacking. You will help improve your physical fitness by just going which is self improvement so I cant say anything about that. Their prices are good.

Really a great place to learn, train, & grow. Amazing instructors, plenty of classes, &3 different fighting styles to choose from. Do 1 or all 3 for the same price. Bjj, Judo, & Muay Thai. Only place in the area with a Judo Black Belt from Japan, a BJJ Back Belt and an Olympic Champion all under one roof. Hands down the best place to train in town. Train where the champions train, TriCity Judo.
