The shoe selection and knowledge of staff are excellent. The employees are well trained and friendly. This would 5 stars if not for the abrasive, know it all owner. If you buy a shoe that isn’t working out, I’d call and ask if the owner is working, if he is wait until he’s gone because he will give you a guilt trip and make you feel like a crook for retuning the shoe. He gets agitated and it’s written all over his body language and forceful«information» that you seemingly have to endure. Unfortunately I had to return two pairs of shoes, 2 separate interactions, that didn’t work out because I have a plantar issue and this guy made me feel like a piece of crap, then tries to defend and explain what he was trying to tell me, NEWSFLASH… I am the customer spending 150 bucks on a pair of shoes, be gentle and understanding. This guy clearly has staff capable of running his store, he should either go part time or retire.

This place was recommended by my podiatrist. I’ve been here twice looking for comfortable shoes to fit my very wide feet(4E). Not a runner but they really know how to help you select the best shoe for you. Both times they couldn’t find me what I needed and they told me that they wouldn’t feel right about selling me a shoe that isn’t right for me! Can you imagine that??? A shoe store that is more concerned about getting the customer the right product even if that means losing a sale. Thank you!!! That is so refreshing to hear and it is appreciated. . I only gave them 4 stars because I didn’t find a pair of shoes that worked. BUT I will continue to keep coming back from time to time as stock rotates looking to find that«just right» pair of shoes.

If you are particular about your running shoes, prefer the hands on experience of store shopping instead of online ordering and want to try out some great brands that are harder to find else where, then Runners Soul is the place for you. Seems like running shoes have really been changing and creeping up in price point lately. I usually have a few go-to brands, but I was finding it more difficult to find something that I was happy with at department and sporting good stores. So for my next purchase, especially considering my price point I wanted to explore other well-known brands and really get a «feel» of what they had to offer. I was happy with the selection and experience. Sometimes you walk into a store and the staff doesn’t give you the time of day, but here the clerk was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to my particular needs. He brought out a pair of Asics, Brooks, Mizuno, Nike and Saucony for me to try on. I walked around in them and was even offered the option to try them out, outside on the pavement if I desired. He was with me the entire time it took me to narrow down my options. I walked out with a great pair of shoes. For being a smaller store their prices were comparable to other locations in town, which is great. I’m not sure what their lowest price shoe is, but the store fit my particular needs. I’m so glad I decided to check out Runners Soul, I live in Kennewick so this location is very convenient for me. I will be coming back when I need to purchase my next pair for sure.

This is a great place to buy running shoes. The customer service is excellent and the people there are very knowledgeable about the shoes. My only complaint is that they don’t carry all the colors in a shoe style. The person helping me out seemed to be slightly put out that I didn’t like the two choices of colors they had in stock(Probably because he knew I wasn’t going to be buying shoes from them, but he still had to waste his time helping me). They had the shoe I wanted on display, but did not offer the option to order it in for me. Sadly, I had to leave without a pair of shoes and will have to purchase the shoes elsewhere.

The store has a good variety of running shoes from running flats to stability and motion control, in all the usual suspects including Asics, Saucony, Brooks, New Balance, Mizuno, Nike, etc… This goes for any store, if you already know what you want and you’re sticking to it, buy your shoes online and save a few dollars(~$ 10). If you’re looking for a place with outstanding customer care, who are willing to go great lengths to make sure you are happy with your purchase, will educate you, and make sure you have a shoe that fits, visit Runners Soul. There are neutral shoes, stability shoes, and motion control shoes that can be useful for people who tend to have their foot roll inwards(pronate) to varying degrees which can cause problems for ankles, joints, etc. I haven’t been to a podiatrist to confirm(and probably won’t), but was told I have the slightest pronation, and so a stability shoe is worth considering. One pair of shoes each from New Balance, Nike, Saucony, Brooks, Asics, and Mizuno were brought out. They were similar shoes from each brand. And, we proceded with a brute force method of determing which shoe I would go home with. Each shoe was tried on, walk on in the store, and kept close if it was worth considering, put just out front of me if it was a «B», and far away if it was a «C» ya later. Only two shoes were allowed to be kept close as «A’s» at any time. Then, when the selection was narrowed down to two, I put one brand on one foot, one brand on the other, then switched feet with the brands to determine the winner. After each shoe switch, I walked /jogged around the room once in each direction. Then, with the final two, I did the same outside near the store on pavement. Throughout the whole process the manager was extremely helpful, even though he was there by himself until his employees came in after school. He was attentive to other customers who came in, but did his best to offer the same quality service to everyone. The prices are fair. The selection of running apparel is minimal, but I think most would find what they need there. They also have a selection of running accessories including socks, energy bars, compression sleeves, hydration packs, and literature on some of the local runs. I will be glad to go back when these shoes wear out, or when I’m looking for another style of training shoe.
