Markee’s Cycling Center

Last place I would take my bike. Over priced, owner was rude, needs a class in P.R. If I want some one to piss me off, I’ll be back!

Took my Bob stroller here to get new tires, filled with goop, and lifetime warranty. $ 20 per tire is money well spent in my opinion.
The staff at Markee’s are helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They let my son «test drive» a few bikes around the shop, and we’re happy to help me load the stroller back into my car.
Very happy with my experience at Markee’s.

Seriously, I have had only good experiences with Markee’s. I’ve had bikes serviced, bought gear, and recently bought a new road bike at Markee’s. I’ve found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable.

Had to stop in after seeing the window display.
Surprised to see a track bike (fixed gear) in the window, I cruised in to talk about the bike scene in the Tri-​Cities.
I must of been lucky because the owner came out and we talked for about a half an hour about cycling. The owner is extremely knowledgeable, maybe so much that it is intimidating to people just out shopping for a bike to ride around the block. (I’ve seen this in many of shops).
He looked online for bikes that he did not have in the store and even offered a few bikes he did have at killer prices. He even called the other location to extend the offer he had just presented me.
We spent some more time talking about his personal bikes and he showed me some beautiful and rare pieces he has in his collection.
Great customer service and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend if you are seriously considering cycling.

I got my first bike from Markees, and thats was after I did two weeks of research on bikes and other shops in our area. I am extremely satisfied with the service that I have gotten from them over the years. They are friendly and very helpful, they were also not extremely pushy as I found a couple of the other shops to be. I know that I will be buying my next bike from Markee’s cycling center!

I bought my first bike when I moved to the area 2 years ago. Anything bicycle related, I always come back to Jerry Markee’s shop, because of the quality of his products that he carries, his passion and expertise in cycling, and just overall good honest customer service.
Haven’t tried any other bike shops in the area, and I never needed to. Markee’s is a solid shop for anyone who is interested in quality bikes.

I have purchased 5+ bikes from Markee’s over the years and have always been happy with them. The owner, Jerry, knows his stuff and only carries gear that has good value (you get what you pay for but are not stuck with junk). The prices are good and better than the norm for closeouts. They will always fit you to your bike which is key for ensuring that you don’t develop any knee/​back issues.
I have always been treated well with any issues that I have encountered and highly recommend them. I have tried all of the other bike shops in the area and definitely go back to Markee’s every time.
I dropped in the other day and found out that Tony (formerly with Kennewick Schwinn) is now there. Tony is an amazing person and a great mechanic. Great pickup Jerry!

I went in here to do a quick scan of the store and see what sort of bike locks they had (I went with REI though). Anyway, the store seemed pretty decent looking (if you want to cool off, they have a ragin’ AC unit in there!).
I can’t say anything about the service (sounds like Justin G didn’t have a nice experience here — oh where, oh where, will I go to get my new bike serviced!?).
