Rude service department. Called to schedule a dishwasher repair and the guy stated that they were scheduling for the next week. I wasn’t thrilled about that. I told him to go ahead and schedule it and that if I needed to cancel it that I would call back. He rudely replied to call back later if I couldn’t find another appointment time. I hung up.

I came to Garrisons after having problems with another local appliance place, Fred’s Appliance. Fred’s was horrible to deal with. I told Garrisons what I wanted to buy and the prices that I had gotten and they not only matched them, but beat them in some cases. Most of all the customer service was fantastic, I dealt with Jim Lyman. He was always honest, upfront and communicated very well. This is really all you can ask for when buying a full kitchen full of appliances. Most of all I didn’t feel like I was purchasing a used car. Delivery was free and exceptionally on time. I was out of town when they had to deliver the appliances to my home that was being built. They let me know when they were going to be there and when they had delivered the appliances. I had gotten a main-​in rebate for the appliances I bought and he sent a copy of the invoice with the rebate already pre-​filled ready to go for me to send in. I have either bought or looked at appliance online or locally and have overlooked Garrisons. I will never make that mistake again. A truly positive and great experience. After a very disappointing experience with another local appliance center we went to Garrison’s. We are so glad we did. We got great service in the store, prompt delivery and set up and warranty service. We are very happy with Garrison’s and will continue to purchase from them.

People that truly care. Great selection of quality products with the knowledge to help select the one that was the best for me. The delivery was right on time and did a great job with a challenging installation. The best Appliance store in the Tri-​Cities!

So, 36 days after I bought a dishwasher, it stopped working. Obviously it was still under warranty so the place I bought it through sent me to Garrison’s for repair.
When my serviceman FINALLY showed up, over a full day later and 30 minutes LATE for my appointment time, he barely even looked at the dishwasher before he «found» the problem. He told me there was an issue in the motherboard and he needed to order A part and he should have it by Friday or Monday «at the latest».
I called them Monday evening and asked what was going on. That is when the receptionist informed me that one of my THREE parts had come in and the other 2 had to come from the manufacturer so it would be AT LEAST 2 more WEEKS!!!
When I asked to speak to someone else they seemed dumfounded and completely lost. So, we decided to just take the dishwasher back to the store.
Upon removing the dishwasher, we noticed the ground wire had come detached. REALLY??? Had the «serviceman» bothered to pull my dishwasher out instead of just glancing at it, he would have noticed that and it would have been fixed within 15 minutes!
Needless to say, I will NEVER use this place again!
