Cherry Chalet

We chose this charming B&B while in Washington celebrating our son’s 30^th birthday. He and his wife drove down from Seattle so that we could do some wine tasting and see a part of the state my husband and I have not visited. Steve and Rainey were incredible hosts, and we fell in love with their dog Bing. The breakfasts were to die for, and the location was perfect. We enjoyed walking in the orchards and hanging out on the patio. We stayed in the Orchard Chalet, and we were all very happy with the accommodations. The only demerit is that the 2^nd bathroom is a bit utilitarian, but it worked for us. We did tour the other two rooms in anticipation of bringing our daughter and son-​in-​law with us on our next visit — they did an AMAZING job on those two rooms, and we are looking forward to returning.

What a great place to stay! I was looking for a nice place to overnight on a road trip from San Diego to Northern Idaho… and the Cherry Chalet is a gem. The room was new and gorgeous (look at the photos on their website). The bed was really comfortable. the breakfast was delicious. We happened to get there on a cherry harvesting day, and enjoyed the most delicious freshly picked cherries. There is a beautiful outside area to sit and relax, with a waterfall and a fireplace. We happened to sit for an hour or so with the owners and had a wonderful conversation. The owner Steve also makes some outstanding wine, which he shared with us. We ended up buying a few bottles to take with us. Stay here… you will not be disappointed.

The new outdoor barbeque is a sweet addition to the communal patio!
