I am seriously saddened by the extreme increase in outdoor pool membership
Two years ago we paid $ 398 for our membership, this year the current price is $ 575… we don’t qualify (on paper) for an income based membership so we (specifically my 4 year old) are out of luck… and I am not the only complainant. Y staff told me that many people have said they can no longer afford to join.

Excellent gym – much more than your standard YMCA. Recently remodeled exercise area and weight room, excellent selection of machines, and wonderful classes. I recommend Power Yoga and spinning. Instructors are professional, well trained, and helpful. The front desk staff seems to remember everyone’s name and always makes me glad I made it to the gym. Locker rooms are clean and the entire facility is meticulously kept. I’m moving from the area and will miss the environment, facilities, and personable staff at the Kennett YMCA.
