Subs are fantastic. The service, not so much. They forgot to make my girlfriend’s sub, then looked at her like she was lying and trying to get a free sub. Then 5 minutes later she asks us if we got our sub. The restaurant is so small, and there were so few customers, that she could see that we didn’t have it. Then brought it out and just dropped it off. I’ll continue to go to Capriotti’s, just not this one.

I love Cap’s food, especially the one in DE I first went to, but many of them, including this one in a «ritzy» area near Philly, appear dirty. The design & all is fine but this place needs a thorough cleaning!

After two crappy salads I think I am done with Caps. I included a picture. Waited 20 minutes for a salad that looks pretty from the top but weighed in at about 5 ounces. That’s about $ 22 per pound they are charging for salad. Canned tomatoes now. Everything canned except the lettuce. Didn’t call my name, had to go up and ask for it since I realized it had been sitting there couple minutes.

We came during the lunch rush hour and it was very busy. You go yo the order here window and order the sandwich, drinks, chips, and whatever else you might want. Then you wait. We waited for about 30 minutes for our sandwiches so we were really hoping that it tasted amazing. You also have the option of ordering onling or through the app in advance.
We ordered a large 20″ bobbie and a medium 12″ slaw be joe. The bobbie tastes like cold thanksgiving leftovers on a sandwich (turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing). If the stuffing had been tastier it might have been a good sandwich. The slaw be joe was even more disappointing. Subpar slaw subpar roast beef suboar sandwich.
Plenty of parking as it is in a strip mall.

Only go if you like your sandwiches with a side of attitude. NY delis get away with that because the food is so good… these sandwiches aren’t that great. Have tried this place a few times because it’s nearby and convenient, but I always leave feeling irritated by their demeanor.

Usually I get Capriottis from West Chester, PA but just grabbed a sub from Kennett Square location to go and they made a real poor sandwich. I asked for double meat, didn’t get it, asked for Swiss, got Provolone and the toppings were all over the place. Oh, asked for oil on the side and got like a tiny tiny bit for a large sub. Super disappointing. I was hangry too.

Go for the Hoagie and leave the steak. We ordered both and while both taste good the cheese steak hardly had any meat. See the pictures and you decide.

We just went to this Capriotti’s today and it was a horrible experience with mediocre food. We ordered two sandwiches and three grilled cheeses. After 20 minutes the food was still not done and when we finally got the food, everything was wrong. The grilled cheese bread was overcooked but the cheese was not melted and both mine and my wife’s sandwiches were made incorrectly even though they had read back the orders correctly. No one there cared. Slow service, bad attitude, and incorrect orders. We will never go again.

I got the «bobbie» sandwich but the roll was very dense and chewy almost stale. I have had cap’s before (exton and w.c. locations) but this one needs to come up to par. Hardly any turkey on sandwich. They need to improve esp for the $ 8.00 price tag!

It was OK. My sub was on a good quality Philly Italian roll and tasted OK but there are so many «knock your socks off» high quality sub shops in suburban Philadelphia why settle for OK. I have gotten twice as much meat and cheese in other sub shops. My friend was happy with her soup and the staff hustled so the wait for our food was reasonable. Three stars is not an insult, if you are nearby and want a sub, eat there. I just won’t go out of my way to get there as I would for other places.
