Zaxbys is one of those fast food places that is better than other fast food places. However, fast food is a gnarly habit as it is. I like Zaxby’s zalads. They had a fiesta corn salad which I adore, but I guess it’s seasonal. Their raspberry vinaiggrette is awesome and only 30 calories per packet. However, even with grilled chicken, the salad is high in sodium and more calories than I would like.
The spicy fried mushrooms are awesome though! Cheese curds are warm about 50% of the time my brother orders them. The garlic toast is basically my favorite part about zaxbys.

Zaxby’s is great! But this location is totally hit or miss. Every other visit is on point, but the bad visits are usually pretty darn bad. Zaxby’s isn’t supposed to be «fast food» and they prove this with wait times, and higher prices than most drive through restaurants. When I pay $ 8 for a salad, I expect the lettuce to be green and crisp, not all stalks and yellow pieces. The wings tend to be tiny and under sauced. Consistency is the main problem for this particular location.
