It’s not the best, certainly not the worst. It’s Moe’s without the grand entrance. The food serves its purpose and they’re pretty fast. Friendly atmosphere.

I work for Cobb 911 and make food runs for my shift. We have ordered from Willy’s many times and the service was so exceptional each time I felt I should write a review. They are always very friendly and helpful. They are very patient with our multiple separate orders and handle them all with efficiency. On top of the great service the food is amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

If you never been to a willies let me tell you it’s not a sit down type of Mexican. It’s a moes to me nothing too great in my opinion. Good maybe fresher and salsa is way better than moes but same prices

We love Willys but this location is a disappointment. We’ve been there twice in the past ten days. The meat, both chicken and steak, is tough and dry like it was cooked the day before. Both times the floor was sticky like sweet tea had been spilled. The place is just dirty. The employees

The only beef I have with Willy’s is their lack of ground beef. No pun intended. The location is good, lots of parking. They have a tv with ESPN on all hours of the day.

I keep trying Willies hoping I will like it. I’ve been disappointed everytime. The only thing I do like is there spicy chicken. I’d say it’s a little better than Moe’s but far off from Chipotle(which is awesome). The lettuce today looks awful. And they gave me this tiny ass water cup. I feel like a kid.

This update to my previous review confirms 3.5 stars for this busy little Mexican fast food spot in Kennesaw. Always a line at lunch suggests Willy’s is something special. It’s not. Yeah, you get a bag of free chips. That’s great. The rest of the Willy’s experience is just«good». You’ll come here for a change of pace, not because you gotta have their burritos, tacos or quesadillas. Find better Americanized Mexican food up the street at Chipotle. More expensive, but overall better. Another«keepin’ it real» review…

I like this location :) The food is always spot on. I really don’t care for the thin, papery chips, but that’s my only complaint!

This is pretty good Mexican on the go. The salsa bar and unlimited chips are excellent. The staff is also very pleasant. My favorites are the steak burritos and nachos. The portions are good for a great price. My only gripe about this location is the tiny parking lot shared with 4 or 5 other businesses. At prime dining time, you have to park in another lot. It’s not the end of the world, but worth noting. I’ve also had them cater a day party I had at my home. Zero mistakes and everything was packed and labeled very well.

Seems like the Kennesaw Willy’s is loosing its grip on its competition. Bathrooms were in bad shape. Staff was on edge and surly. Also don’t get the Grande quesadilla, you pay for more but do t get it. Owner needs to pay a visit and see and do a cleanliness and quality control check!!!

First time here, ordered the cilantro and garlic steak street taco and the chicken street taco. My steak taco tasted like a fish taco. The tamatillo sauce, cilantro and onions were tasty and fresh. My chicken on my other taco was dry, no matter how much sauce i put on it it was just dry like toast. No flavor. The coleslaw on this one was more of a celery flavor. We’ve passed this place many times and decided to stop in since we were in the area. The mango tea was really delicious, almost had a fresh after taste of jasmine. Not sure I can give this a second try.

I moved to north metro Atlanta a little over two years ago, but I’d never heard of Willy’s until today, when a Buzzfeed article compared Willy’s favorably to Chipotle. My daughter and I decided that we should check this out immediately, so off we went. Perhaps we should have heeded another review on here to opt for simpler choices — like a quesadilla — over something like a burrito, because we were really disappointed. We ordered the chipotle pork burrito, the cilantro-garlic steak burrito, and vegetarian nachos. The employees weren’t UNfriendly, but neither were they especially friendly, either. That’s certainly not a deal-breaker — we all have off days. They seemed generous enough with their toppings, but I admit that I was especially disappointed with the rice. We both love Chip’s cilantro lime rice, and by comparison, Willy’s was very bland. So, too, were both types of meat — not spicy, not flavorful, not.anything. It was like having a bit of unseasoned meat on there. The burritos were generously filled and we could each only eat half of one, so while they were filling, the flavors weren’t really satisfying. The nachos were okay, but they burnt the edges of our order, so that wasn’t awesome. I know some people don’t like the very thin tortilla chips, but I don’t mind them. I will give them props for using what seemed like fresh garden-ripened tomatoes; they had that satisfying«you can’t buy this is a store — you have to grow it» kind of rich flavor, but that’s all you tasted — not onions, cilantro, or lime, for example. So, tomatoes(in late June at least!) = good, but the pico as a whole wasn’t great. The Luzianne tea(sweet and unsweet, of course) was excellent, and for those who like soda, they also have a Coke Freestyle machine. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and a little dark — not at all like the industrial look and feel in Chipotle. The restaurant seemed clean, and like the kind of place where you could come to study or get some work done. If I were to return, I’d come back for the feel of the place; the food itself wasn’t otherwise compelling.

I placed an order for pickup, not only could I barely understand the woman I spoke with on the phone she could hardly speak English! I would expect they would have someone who could understand the order would be answering the phone, but once I did get my order in I asked to pay over the phone and they got my card number and tried to get me off the phone… I had to ask her to put my name on the order so she would know who put it in! Then I find out that they couldn’t run my card because she didn’t ask for my expiration date. So I call back and try to explain the issue to another woman who spoke little English, ANDSHESTARTSREADINGTHECARDNUMBER before I could say who I was! I didn’t even say my name to her yet, I could have been anyone! The food was okay but they have some work to do on their customer service!

Quesadillas are the truth! While out shopping around on a Saturday on Barrett Parkway, my friend suggested Willy’s. Claiming to only want the queso dip –lol. Well, anyone that knows me, knows that I don’t play those type of games when it comes to food… when it’s time to eat, it’s time to eat. Lol. I ordered a quesadilla and a chicken taco(not knowing how big the quesadilla would be) and also a small order of queso dip. The dip was all that she said it would be and the quesadilla was really good as well, just cheese & grilled chicken :), my friend, the one who only wanted Queso enjoyed MY extra taco. Lol The service @ Willy’s was fast and sweet, the lady that made my food was the sweetest ever, very patient, kept a smile on her face an even chuckled at the lame joke I made about ordering to much food. The cashier had a very nonchalant attitude, almost robotic, but that was cool too. I was in a move it along mood as well. The little salsa bar area was clean & stocked, & the beverage station was neat. Willy’s will definitely see me again

I am cheating on Moe with Willy! This has been going on for a while. i used to think it was just a «thing», but it looks like we are getting serious here. The chicken is fantastic, salsa bar always shows me the love. Service here is always great. Willy just treats me better, the way a woman should be treated. I haven’t really measured but I am pretty sure Willy has a bigger burrito as well.

I love willy’s and I eat here often the good is always fresh and I always get my fill, I also like the fact that they know me by name and they they always are prompt and generous with their portions. It’s a great for Lunch or dinner and a good place to get a good meal right before 10pm when I usually get home!

I’d like to think that Willy’s is a nice answer and approach to some of the larger chains out there in the world today. Not only have they put together a rather efficient makeline with plenty of ingredients to choose from, but the menu is pretty straightforward with something for just about everyone. Pros: Adore Chicken — Pretty flavorful and a nice mixture of spices Coke Freestyle — I mean… what’s not to love? That sauce they have at the salsa station. Dig it! Cons: It feels a little too much like another chain I’m not too fond of. The toppings/ingredients just don’t really make the cut for me. However, I think going with something more simplistic is the way to go with Willy’s. I’d probably opt for something like a quesadilla instead of a burrito. The burrito was just kinda blah. Not a whole lot of love in the beans or rice. Also, the guac was pretty flat as far as flavors go. The chips are all wrong. They all stuck together and are so paper thin. They break before you can scoop anything atop. Kind of a bummer. Willy’s is great in a pinch, but definitely wouldn’t be my first choice.

The best thing about this place is it’s way better than Moe’s. It’s not authentic Mexican food, but it’s not bad. If you’re in the mood for a lot of Mexican type food that isn’t dripping in cheese for a reasonable price, this is the place! We had almost everything on the menu, and I don’t think you can go bad with anything. If you like large stuffed burritos, this is the place. The meats are seasoned pretty well, not bland, but not too spicy.

I wouldn’t tell anyone that the food here is authentic. I think we all know what we’re getting here. Having said that… I love it! I rarely have burritos. But when I do, they are very good. I generally have the steak quesadillas. They will only put on your food what you want them to put on it. The service is always stellar. Everyone on the line is professional and clean. The environment is set pretty well. The place is always clean. The salsa bar is always full and fresh. They have an outdoor seating area with ceiling fans and a tv. They have a tv inside as well. Only sports play on them. So prepare yourself for that if you’re not a fan of sports. You can’t go wrong here… unless you want to!

All of my friends are obsessed with Willy’s, so I stand alone when I say I absolutely do not like this place. ESPECIALLY this location. The girls on the line are rude and start making your food without asking you what you want on it. Yeah, I go to Mexican places and order my food withOUT rice and beans. Get over it. The food is ehhh. Way too much cheese in the quesadilla. The tacos aren’t great either. If you don’t like cilantro, which I don’t, you’re probably not going to like Willy’s food because it’s in everything. It’s not great.
