Best gas I’ve ever had! On top of having the finest gas around they are usually cheaper than the other gas stations near-​by, the people inside are always friendly, and they offer a KSU student DISCOUNT!

If you’re a bargain hunter like me, you like to keep track of who has the lowest gas on your route to
Wherever-​land.
Well, I found it! I remembered to use my KSU ID to get 5 cents off the gallon for gas. This is a huge help during the holiday season when I’m trying to buy holiday gifts, pay for school, enjoy my life… stuff adds up.
Anyone that knows me knows I love candy. So, I go into the candy aisle expecting to buy 5 packs of Hubba Bubba bubble gum with my gas and roll out.
The really nice guy at the counter points out the price of my gum and honesty says, «It’s kinda high for this type of gum so if you buy 5 packs, you’re looking at spending x amount of dollars. It was like he read my mind. I didn’t ask for a price check but it’s really cool that he was looking out for me like that. Naturally, I decline the gum. That’s the first time ever that a gas station took. the time to verify price instead of just taking my money. Plus he was personable. He asked me how my classes were going. At most gas stations, sometimes you’re lucky enough only to hear «have a nice day».

The Swifty Save typically has the cheapest gas in the area around KSU. It also has a convenience store with the usual gas station fare — though they have a larger amount of fresh fruit than most (not a larger variety of kinds… just bananas, apples, and oranges I think… but there’s more of it so you’re not left picking from 3 sorry specimens).
The gas station has a pay air pump in one corner ($ 1), and a pay Vacuum/​Air pump in another corner. So, lot’s of air for your tires — but not free.
The offer a discount of a few cents if you pay in cash rather than credit card. They also offer a few more cents off per gallon with your KSU ID — for students or staff. That makes the already cheap gas an even better deal.
Overall, a good place.
