Oasis Cafe and Hookah Lounge

My friends and I used to love coming to oasis. It was a fun little place with fun music and people. But for the last six months it’s really gone down hill. We keep going back hoping it’ll be like it used to, but not any good anymore.

Horrible rude service literally don’t even ask u to get a chair just expect you to seat yourself and hookah is nasty and unclean might get a infection smoking it

I live in Gwinnett county. I only came here because a friend of mine came back in town in Powder Springs and I wanted to go somewhere closer to him instead of driving back to my staple hookah spot in Gwinnett (Haven). To sum it up the hookah gave me a headache. Our hookahs were barely pulling and some guy who I am assuming to be the owner caught an attitude with my friend when he told him and showed him it wasn’t pulling. His response was «what do you want to blow smoke and fill the entire room?» or something like that. He laughed a little so I brushed it off and kept quiet. I wanted to scream ‘YES!’ Lol a good hookah will give you a good cloud and good buzz but all I got was a really good headache. I could barely taste the flavor. I got ‘dragon breath’ by the way… More like ‘draggin death’. Anyway I will NOT be returning here, I mean I don’t have a reason to anyway because it’s so far from where I live. But I can say if it was a great spot I would have definitely considered coming back sometime in the near future.

I used to come here all the time for months because I like the small club scene atmosphere. Some people enjoy going to quiet hookah bars, but I loved this one. Although, after a few months I went here with my friends to celebrate my (gay) friend’s birthday. The owner as well as his nephews and all other family members came off very rudely about us dancing and «wanted those faggots outta here.» If you make your hookah bar come off as a club, then ANYONE should be allowed to dance. On another note, the bathroom is clean on some days, the floors are crazy dirty, and the owner is a straight asshole against gays and anyone other than hot women. Won’t ever come here again.

DISGUSTING. People who work here are assholes. Trashier than a Kid Rock concert. You’ll catch a disease smoking hookah here!

I think Chase R. really sets up expectations nicely. Oasis is terrible. So expensive, loud, and they don’t even serve alcohol! Of course, you have to remember that their demographic is high school seniors stoked about having a place to flash their IDs. If one of your friends suggests a night out here, fake sick.

I went here with a group of friends last night. Slow service and the hookah was awful. We ordered a party hookah for 4 of us while one of us got his own personal one. It was a grand total of $ 61.50 for the party hookah, 2 monsters, a sweet tea (that was taken back because it was terrible) and a bottle of water. Not worth the money or the wait. Better off getting your own hookah then coming here.

If you’re looking for a decent hookah bar to sit back and relax with some friends, avoid this place. Please. I’ll start by saying the music is extremely loud and of the hip hop variety (the awful mainstream kind that plagues the radio waves), so don’t even think of talking to your buddies. And good luck with getting the attention of any of the less than witty employees here. I swear, every time I’ve been here, we order and it takes them a good 20 – 30 minutes to get our hookahs out. One time, they even sent our hookahs to another table. SERIOUSLY? WHAT. And be aware that you cannot split checks in that you must buy a hookah for yourself. It’s cheap, but still. Disclaimer me. Just avoid this place and go to nearby Café Istanbul for a more genuine, fun experience smoking hookah.

We came here expecting to pay $ 10 for hookah, but no, it is $ 10 a person to hookah. each getting an individual hookah. Definitely not what was expected so we left and the manager came running after us giving us a discount which was pretty cool of him. The dj was great and it’s a pretty chill atmosphere. but the prices are pretty expensive. I’d go again if the hookah was cheaper, but if you want to go and pay cheap then go somewhere else.

I went here on a whim because I was craving Hookah and this place was close by and had a deal. Before this, I had never been to a Hookah bar, and only experienced it at friends’ houses, so I didn’t quite know what to expect. Well, my friend and I walked in and was told to sit down anywhere. There were seating with cushions but they weren’t the most comfortable things in the world. It felt like they threw a huge cushion over a wooden crate and called it a lounger. Ha. After, we picked the flavor and waited while it was prepared. The guy brought out the hookah but had difficulty pushing the top all the way into the base and it still didn’t end up being secure. I picked watermelon but I wasn’t able to taste much of anything so I was disappointed. I probably won’t be back, even with the discount, and especially because my friend told me about another place that he liked better.
PS — it looked like almost all the guys who worked there were high. *ahem*

My friends and I came here on a Tuesday night and we were the only ones there for awhile. They might want to think about investing in some more lighting. It’s kinda scary walking in someplace where you can’t really see where you’re going. It makes me think they’ve got something to hide. The two stars fits good because i’ve definetley had a better hookah experience. I was pretty open-​minded and gave it a shot, but unfortunately I wasn’t too impressed.
The girl that waited on us built up this mango flavor that turned out to be pretty average. She was always outside busy flirting and putting on a show for the owners/​coworkers. We had to shoot a flare gun to get her to change our coal after it needed replacing. Idk. Maybe she was just having an off night but it really didnt seem like she was too concerned about our business.
I might have given it a better rating if maybe she come to check on us at least? The whole time we were there, only one other small party of 3 or 4 came in. Like I said the flavor she said she LOOOVED wasn’t that great and we would’ve told her that if she paid the slightest attention to us.
All in all, this place is worth the 2 out of 5 stars, only cuz I didn’t wanna be extremely rude. i think they get away with shabby service cuz they WERE the only hookah bar close to my wade green residence. But righht down the street CAFE ISTANBUL just opened next to the LA Fitness. Oasis needs to step their game up and replace the shabby waitresses if they don’t want everybody to follow me and my friends to the brighter and more spacious Café.

It has great food. I loved the atmosphere, nice and cozy, we hung out in the side room and I loved the atmosphere. Lots of flavors to choose from. The service was great and friendly.
